Control: Muse can control other people's actions without them knowing for 3 days, but don't know that when the M!A is over the controlled people will find out what Muse made them do. Then the Muse have to do anything they say for 3 days.

Temptation: For the next 3 days, the Muse will be haunted by a hooded figure tempting them with everything they ever wanted if the Muse just signs a contract. If the Muse give in, they will be a dark/evil version of themselves for a week. (If the Muse is already evil, they will just go insane)

Beautiful: Muse will be so incredibly beautiful, charming and sexy that no-one can refuse them anything for 2 days. But if they use this to take advantage of someone, these people will find the Muse hideous and repellant for a week after the M!A is over.

Starving: Muse is starving and is sorrounded by their favourite foods at all times for 24 hours. But actually, these foods are innocent people...

Tired: For 24 hours, the Muse will feel exhausted. But the Muse knows that if they go to sleep, the people the Muse cares about will feel excruciating pain.

Book: The Muse is the main character of a book of anon's choice for 5 days and have to go trough the same things the character in the book did.

"If you don't care, then why are you making it such a big deal in the first place!?"

Neku turned away, closing his eyes and lowering his head as he tried to keep himself from snapping back at Uzuki and her completely ridiculous train of thoughts. As much as he’d wanted to raise his voice—he couldn’t. Losing it here would only mean causing a scene and attracting the attention from the crowd near Hachiko was still the last thing Neku wanted.

“Please. Like I can just forget that easy." Neku huffed, "Besides, so what if it helps you? It’s not like I’m part of the Game anymore. I don’t get why you’d think I’d even care." Maybe he should’ve just kept all of this to himself like he was originally planning. It would’ve saved him a lot of grief.

"Yeah," Uzuki agreed. She probably could have asked Kariya about the more mechanical details behind Soul - he tended to absorb that kind of information, even if he didn't talk about it much - but she didn't really care to know, as long as she could use it. 

"But thanks!" That was true - she was a Harrier, and a fairly decent one, so there was no reason she shouldn't be able to pull it off. "But yeah, it'll probably be better to start when I'm rested up, and don't have to worry about work or anything." She didn't really have anything else to ask, and she didn't want to distract Coco from work, so she continued, "Well, I guess not. See you tomorrow or something, then?"

"Like, maybe. I dunno. I don’t think like, I’ve ever gotten a really technical explanation from anyone. Not like I can just ask Mr. Kitaniji or anything. I’m sure it like, doesn’t matter too much. So long as it works, right?" Coco could set things on fire with her mind, heal, and create barriers. Honestly, she didn’t much care how that all worked, so long as it did. Knowing the technical would be nice, though, if only to know a bit more about how things worked. She liked knowing how things worked.

"I’m sure you’ll get it with enough time and practice. I mean, you’re a Harrier, that’s proof enough you’ve like, got some good kind or amount of Imagination, right? I wouldn’t recommend trying to figure out what your Noise form is tonight, though. Staying up too late’s like, never a good idea before work. And like, now that I’m thinking about it, I should probably make sure I’m not missing some paperwork or something for my job. Got any more questions before I head out to go check on that?”

"You're alive. You can forget about the Game. I'm the one who actually still has to deal with my crazy bosses every day, so whatever happened, and however it happened, and if there could ever be a chance that it could happen again - I'm pretty sure I do need to know that a lot more than you seem to think I do, Headphones."

“Hmph." Neku replied with a huff, letting that part of the conversation drop. He’d already tried to explain everything the best he could. It wasn’t his fault if Uzuki couldn’t follow along. Besides, the information wasn’t even important to her anyway. She should’ve just been thankful Neku had decided to eventually share.

“—I dunno. But from the fact that you’re standing right beside me, I’d say the UG still affects me plenty. And I’m not about to take any chances. Besides, it’s not like you really needed to know anyway. So why care if I kept it to myself?”

"You're the one not keeping your story straight!" Uzuki accused. Ugh, they'd gotten totally off topic, too. She'd just wanted to know what the deal was with the O-pins; it wasn't really her business how Headphones got back into the RG. Although, at this point she was annoyed that he was hiding the information from her, anyway. 

"...I'd feel insulted if you trusted me. But what kind of terrible thing do you expect me to do if you tell me? I mean, you're alive, right? I don't see how any of this effects you anymore."

“It’s not my fault you can’t keep up, either!" Though, Neku knew the entire situation wasn’t exactly the easiest to explain, either. Maybe that had been part of the reason why he’d been so hesitant to start this conversation before, too—aside from the fact he was convinced Uzuki wouldn’t have believed him anyway.

At least she seemed to get the basic points of it, though…which was probably a good thing. Neku didn’t really feel like trying to explain all of that again.

“What doesn’t it have to do with anything? You were after us during the Game. It’s not like you can exactly expect me to trust you after all that.”

"I thought the Psyches you could use was about more, like, what kind of Soul you have. Not how much of it." Not that Uzuki knew a lot about it, either - she mostly stuck to a few favored Psyches, pretty similar to the ones she'd been able to use as a Player, and when it came to using Soul directly, all she knew was how to make Noise. "I guess I don't know much about how it works, either, though. It seemed kind of pointless to pay too much attention to the mechanics once I knew how to use it." 

She thought about what Coco said next. "I'm not that much older than 15," she said. She was 17, or maybe like 21, counting the years after she died. Either way, it probably wasn't enough of an age difference to make up the difference between a mouse and an ocelot. "But I guess you're right. I'll just have to work hard and hope for the best."

"Mm… not like, that often." It was a good way for her to eavesdrop on things on occasion, though she rarely ended up doing that to discover more than when the next Game was going to be scheduled so she could avoid the UG, or if she could expect some kind of raise or pay cut. Usually. That, and it was great for sneaking around during Game weeks  so she didn’t get caught. She’d been doing it less and less as time went,  on, though, being that small was just way too uncomfortable.

"Hm…" Coco tilted her head to one side. "Maybe. I can use like, a decent amount of psychs, though. I can’t say I know like, that much about how Soul actually works, though, it just kinda does."

She shrugged. "Ah well. Maybe it’s like, age or something. If that’s it, you’re definitely gonna get something better than me. I was sorta barely 15 when I joined. I don’t think you could like, get anything worse than a mouse, though. Maybe you’ll get something really fast or really strong. It’s like, all about finding the right internal frequency. Instant results are like, so not a thing, but like, you can totally get it eventually if you keep trying."

“Our mission was to defeat the GM. We had 6 days. And we took care of that, but—there was more to getting out of the UG than just that. Like I said, we got forced into a fight against Shades. Twice. Then there was the run in with the Composer…”

Neku let an irritated huff slip out as Uzuki interrupted with her thought. “—Yeah, that’s what I just said if you’d been listening." Of course, it wasn’t just him and Beat. There’d been Shiki, too. And Joshua, to an extent. "And we did. It just wasn’t Beat taking him on like he’d planned.”

“You’re a Reaper." And that was Neku added in a explanation to Uzuki’s last point, too. This might’ve been after the Game, but Reapers still weren’t exactly people Neku felt comfortable sitting down and having a deep conversation with.

"Ohh... kay, then. So you did win the Game. And then killed Mr. Kitaniji. And then... you actually found and tried to fight the Composer? And somehow all got brought back to the life anyway?" She frowned. "Hey, it's not my fault! You're being confusing!"

First he said he'd lost the last Game, then he said he'd won and fought Mr. Kitaniji after. And first he said they hadn't found the Composer, now he said they had, but Freshmeat hadn't been the one to fight him. Was he just making things up? 

"What does me being a Reaper have to do with anything?"

...That was an unhelpful and vague reply. 

"Is there anything more effective that you would recommend, then, sir?"

"Hmm."

"I doubt that would be an effective way of searching… however, feel free, if you believe yourself able to obtain results."

"Sneaking around? Just how often do you do things like that?" Uzuki asked, frowning. Coco kind of seemed like a goody-goody... although she had heard some rumors about her. Maybe they were true. 

That wasn't really important, though. "Hmmm..." Uzuki said, in response to Coco's story. "Sounds difficult, then. ...I wonder what causes your Noise form to be big or small in the first place. Maybe if you have more Soul you get a bigger Noise form?" 

Uzuki would just have to work hard and hope that she got a decent Noise form in the first place. But at least now she knew that if she didn't get a good one, it wouldn't be totally hopeless.

"I guess… but like, it’s not really practical in a real fight. Kinda handy for sneaking around sometimes, though."

Mostly by sneaking around she meant avoiding anyone when they got too close to her very very illegal shop. She’d tried spying on an Officer’s meeting once using it, but it hadn’t worked. Stupid walls…

And Coco didn’t let her offense at Uzuki’s words show. Mice were cute, so long as they were wild and rabid. Rats were the ones with the big gross hairless tails.

"Well, yeah but like, it’s really, really hard to do. It takes a lot of energy to like, alter your base form. Probably got something to do with Soul and Imagination and all that. Not really sure how to make it permanent, though. I tried it once… I think I managed to double my size but I like, slept for almost three days straight afterwards and the change didn’t stick. I like, would not recommend trying it any time soon."

After all, there was no way Meg had a Noise form so large (she’d heard stories, his Noise form was supposedly enormous!) when he first became a Reaper, and Higgy’s Noise form was big enough that Coco was fairly sure it hadn’t started off that way. Maybe Uzuki would have an affinity for it, who knows.
