#tma was for sure the most stressful#given my history u wld think it wld be like. crit role or the mcu. but i stayed in my ship specific corners and didnt get involved.#saw the discourse and let it pass on the wind#tma was small enough at certain points where a lot of people just knew each other and had beef#pros: met the love of my life#cons: most other things#most peaceful is hard#psychonauts maybe? bc it’s small and i have historically been minimally involved#that i’ve specifically written for is prooooobably pacific rim? but that’s also bc i wasn’t involved other than reading and writing fic#idk i tend not to get heavily involved. tma was the one time i did and that was stressful.

man. just remembered the summer when a friend and i just dug a hole.
every day we wld take shovels out to this dirt field on our street and dig a hole. for hours. in the sun.
do not think i got a sunburn from this experience. actually that might have been the summer my sister got mad that i was tanner than her “without even trying.” like yeah dude. what i have done this summer is dig a hole. have u tried that?

This is a legitimate and damaging cultural shift for all involved parties and it needs to be addressed.
#i mean in the 2000s i was crawling around in ditches outside#i was also inside sometimes? but we usually weren’t strictly supervised#my dad kinda wanted me out of the house and it was fine as long as he knew approximately where i was and i didn’t leave out street#only rule was be home by 5 for dinner#i do think the ipad baby trend makes a lot of sense in this context#like yeah if u aren’t letting ur kids roam around probably ur just going to give them whatever makes them leave u alone
