Jackson actually has bad hearing. Not bad enough to the point where it requires hearing aids, but he’s blasted music so often and so loudly into his ears that it has damaged his hearing.

His crew chief had to ask him to stop wearing headphones and earbuds for a while so Jackson wouldn’t kill his ears

Strip will hardly drink anything other than water. He completely crashes anytime he has something with caffeine in it (heaven forbid someone gives him an energy drink), and he’s just overall picky when it comes to what he will or won’t drink

Closest thing he’s gotten to having something that isn’t water is the occasional iced tea

so imagine lightning decides to run away to thomasville to try and get help from Smokey or someone else right

and at first Smokey is willing to help him, keeping him safe from doc until he stops trying to find him.

but then doc comes up to Smokey one night. He acts all innocent, telling Smokey how lightning hurt him and how ungrateful he was, placing him as the abuser. Of course Smokey doesn’t believe it at first, but then doc shows him “proof.”

he cut himself the night before, using that as “evidence” that lightning had hurt doc, and that sells Smokey into taking lightning back to him.

Smokey would tell lightning that they were going on a stroll, far away from thomasville. As soon as they reach their location, Lightning starts squirming and tries to run away. Smokey holds his wrist, tightly, threateningly holding him down and tightening his grip on his shoulders.

lightning kept on struggling however, whimpering and crying to Smokey to let him go, but he wouldn’t listen. Like everyone else, even Smokey himself fell for docs tricks.

and so doc takes lightning away, while the young racer thinks about the possibilities of his punishment

Especially because Doc has such a good reputation, no one would really have any reason to doubt him or incriminate him too much!

Do you think theres a scenario where Lightning does eventually escape or does he end up stuck with Doc as long as possible?

Though I gotta admit with all Doc does it makes me curious what Doc would consider a punishment or to what extremes it would go to! 🤔

They are both hyper and outgoing. They both enjoy going out places and exploring! Because of this they have a lot of stories and experiences

Really glued to eachother and hardly ever leave eachothers sides. They are the definition of dating your best friend

Both are unhinged. They always get into chaos together since they don’t have a voice of reason to stop them. L sometimes tries to keep them out of it but J tends to convince him to hang out

Friendly banter. Lots of teasing with eachother and while racing they mightly softly bap eachother just as a hello. They have to be careful though because sometimes they get a little too excited and hit a bit too hard and swerve a bit

Neither of them cook and it normally results in fire when they do try. L bakes sometimes so he has a bit of knowledge, and a lot of their cooking attempts resulted in playful food fights so they typically stick to getting takeout

They don’t do a lot of PDA asides from holding hands, but they will not stop talking about eachother

On several occasions they brought pride flags to races

Cal is typically terrible at trying to lie, but there have been a few times where he got away with it and no one noticed and he’s used the facade of him being a terrible liar to get away with things

Finn actually isn’t too crazy about alcoholic beverages, he mostly has them because it’s so heavily associated with spies and with looking cool. He’s toned back on drinking certain things because he realized he was getting addicted
