Along the way and as one who really belongs to the topblogger genre on Facebook from way back when the Pandemic had taken a hold of those many activities and random consequence. Instead of the usual 'I can do it and I can and I will' that premise has been replaced by the restrictive mode of consequence. There are so many inspirational and motivational quotes that is meant to motivate people to do more, to be more, the pandemic period put a clamp on all those mobility and circumstance. Instead of mobility, it is the alternative course of action that we need to take, in quiet abandon. The quietness of the farmlands becomes ideal. Vegetable farming, getting Spiritual and any thing to do that resembles closely to meditation and introspection. There isnt just any kind of momentum. This becomes the period of restraint, the period of quiet abandon. Everywhere it is being broadcasted so whatever it is that we are capable of doing we just keep doing it except attending any close social contact like parties or other types of festivities. Let us keep our peergroup in touch and closely motivatedto apply that alternative course of action instead of dabbling on affirmation rejection type of relationship. Relativity, generalities can count, we can keep telling our own versions of whatever stories on the objective side. We are not being rated. We are only retaining our rights for discourse.

We do not have the luxury of waiting it out thats for sure. Why are we here?

Because someone told me I need to be here. I was sent. And you are here also because you like to find out. Is the invitation true? Is there really such a thing in the midst of the pandemic panic. These are the worst of times. You are here because you are willing to give yourself a chance. Wala namang mawawala. Our society today is currently quietly crumbling , collapsing to an unimaginable depths that has never happened before. The prevailing economic order has been turned upside down, replaced by a new Capitalist bloc, a new normal as it is called. And in that new normal also comes a new order of things. Life has become more difficult in the new normal. There are plenty of jobs lost in this new normal, plenty of lives at stake. We are no longer a thriving, competitive ecomomy that weused to be. Thatone year periodhad caused a great reversal that finds us somewhere in the bottomline of that new economic condition. We are here to verify this situation . We are here to pick up the pieces where do we start. We begin again. Lost time, iost opportunities, lost horizon, empty tvsets and practically all our regular little diversions are gone. Where are we now? Its hard to accept that reality but a man as long as he is living always has that chance to succeed, to survive. You can call this session, a netsurvival kit. Technoodling, as one called it. Tragiclemon. But no, we keep offering hope, a hope for a new beginning, a hope for carrying on.

Patience is Virtue

If you would ask me if this is the right time to embark on something, of course the answer is no. Why are we here? Thats the good question instead to ask. We are sent. We are obliged. We are dutybound to make a restart despite against unfavorable circumstance.

It is alwsys a good advice to say, avoid crowds, sneeze ethics, sanitize. Its what we've been doing for a year now. We are not a highly-modernized highly-urbanized country. We sunk even deeper unto indebtedness from foreign borrowings during the pandemic. The cost of restarting something is too risky. Would you open a sari sari store to an almost ghost town kind of scenario. We are really put in such a desperate situation that both the rich and the poor resent.

You are also here to be helped. All that will make it up to the second week of this forum will be granted a 10k puhunan package courtesy of SM Investments. We are no miracle workers. We have no formula for a quick economic recovery or any kind of rebound but we can help build lives again, for the many and for the few people like you. We have scholarship programs, we offer jobs to those whoare people in need.

What we are having here is a escapehatch, a tiny open window of opportunity where the onlynthing we need to be is to be present, to listen , to speak when we need to.

The govt received a failing mark for a country that ended up with the highest number of covid positives, the last to have the vaccine and an economy that had slumped to the bottom for the nth time.
