i still can believe silver got abandoned because he was not powerful enough. Like. look at him interacting with sleepy???? he's so sweet??

i found him outside like this with sleepy. Sleepy has had problems after getting abandoned by their past trainer because it didnt want to evolve, especially with making friends, But silver seems to think that this little goop is his best friend. Its honestly so cute, i cant believe it.

I when I was still actively training, my main goal was to be on a gym leader. Mister Kabu for the Galar region came all the way to Unova to teach a class of us wannabe gym leaders. I don’t think he liked me much but he said I had potential so idk lol

I really like flareon, so I was looking at pictures of flareon online and I noticed one of them seemed a lot less fluffy than the others.

So my question is, how much of their body is fluff and how much is pudge? It looked like the ruff on this was fluffy as usual but the rest of the body was either a lot slimmer or had the fluff trimmed!

Is this the case or was the Flareon undernourished?

flareon are actually relatively skinny under all that fluff! their fur is part of how they regulate their body temperature. while they prefer to keep fairly hot, they produce such high-temperature flames that they can overheat if they overwork their flame sacs. that thick fur allows them to trap enough heat to be comfortable while venting excess heat. they're able to poof themselves out using little muscles around their hair follicles, which is called piloerection. this helps them keep their body temp comfortable!

the "skinny" flareon may have been trimmed for easier grooming or to better fit the climate. their ruff is the most important part of their temperature regulation system, so as long as that looks normal, the shorter fur isnt too big of a deal!

I wonder if a Charmander (or related) owner /Rancher/ daycare worker can answer this: how do you bathe one? Or do they skin-shed like other reptile Pokémon? I can’t imagine any charmander wanting to take a bath, unless maybe there’s a tail cover or a LOT of trust? (Asking for Matcha)

My litwick’s wax is usually clean, but when it gets dry it cracks, it just puts it back on its head and it melts again. We sometimes give it little Combee Wax cubes if we think it needs something healthier than just reused wax, but maybe it being a ghost has something to do with its reuse?

I guess Firetypes have ways of avoiding baths, huh…?

Dust baths… that sounds like an interesting idea, Matcha would probably know something about that, she’s spent a lot of time with Minccino
