"Trans women are actually women for real, not in a metaphorical sense, not in a "anyone can be anything" sense, but genuinely actually make more taxonomic sense to classify in the category of women than any other group" is a position you'll find is pretty radical even in queer spaces

Liss is single handedly responsible for how poor our understanding of Galar Fossils is.
Please keep this in mind whenever she appears in any "documentaries" or news showings.
As a palentolgist and someone who trained a Tyrunt into a Tyrantrum as a kid, I feel like I should put my two cents into the fossil Pokémon conversation.
It’s messy, it’s complicated, it’s as confusing as kingdom hearts lore sometimes. Like the worst highschool click break up you’ve ever seen, but like. Fossil Pokémon aren’t actually being revived, their being cloned back into life from the remaining DNA. Which is why most of them maintain a rock typing.
Now my Babygirl is perfectly cared for thank you very much, especially since I had access to the proper environment for it to live in. As the crown tundra hasn’t seen significant changes to its bio spear in ages it means we also have so much more research on Tyrantrum, Tyrunt and their environment than other fossil Pokémon,
Rambling, my bad. Lmao, anyways, Clara liss. Absolute mad woman and bitch. In my universe at least she’s essentially been ousted by most of them scientific community for well… her whole thing. Her actions lead to the uneeded suffering of several revived Pokémon and if you see her anywhere near revival equipment please contact local authorities or the board of ethics.

Radiodonts of Route 111: A Re-Evaluation of Hoenn and it's Geological Origins
Andrea Saknussemm
Published: March 8th, 2025 March 9th, 2025
Abstract
For the longest time, the Hoenn region was believed to be a very recent Volcanic Islands with carbon dating and fossil evidence pointing to the region forming between 10-15 million years ago. However, a discovery thirty years ago of the fossil pokemon Anorith and Lileep on Route 111 confounded Paleontologists and Geologists alike.
Theories have ranged from Saltwater Lakes to Lost Worlds, however all of these theories have run a gambit of problems, and not many scientists have considered that perhaps our understanding of Hoenn's origins up until this point have been wrong. While Hoenn has volcanic origins to it's landmass, there have been signs that once upon a time, Hoenn was a landmass not just created by volcanic activity but by Tectonic Plate Subduction, and that Hoenn is all that remains of a large landmass and that it's volcanic activity is but the most recent change that has given our region
Our first piece of evidence comes back in the form of Anorith and Lileep, pokemon we now know date back to around 500 million years ago. While Lileep and it's relatives can be found all over the world throughout all of our world's geological history, Anorith is not, and goes extinct hundreds of millions of years before the theoretical formation of Hoenn via convection volcanoes.
The second piece of evidence comes from the shallow seas around Hoenn that during the last ice age, would have actually been walkable, before glacial melt would have risen the sea levels high enough to consume most of this land mass.
The third piece of evidence comes in the form of a very unlikely source, one that has until now, been avoided in all papers, but I think now I can potentially give a source to the notorious Mirage Spots that can be found in Hoenn's surrounding sea.
Sixty years ago now, before even the discovery of Lileep and Anorith, a Kantoan sailor out at sea came across an island that was not on any of the charts, curious he explored and found outcropping from exposed rock, a fossil. He brought back this fossil to the Museum in Pewter City, which was the skull of a Cranidos.
However, since this discovery, scientists, nor the sailor haven't found the island that was the source of this fossil. However, a few things of interest are the facts that, despite being an island around the Hoenn region, thus, subject to the same volcanic origins, the island seemed to be older than any of the recent volcanic rock, and had fossils that date back millions of years before the initial origins of Hoenn.
With this in mind, the conclusion I've come to is that Hoenn, once upon a time was a low continent, and what we see today is in part the highlands of this once greater landmass, as well as the result of recent volcanic activity that has started a rebirth of the dying landmass. The Mirage Spots that are found are old pieces of the now submerged continent, how these appear, it is uncertain, however, one theory is that these islands are dependent on the tide on whether or not they will be submerged or not.
More studies will need to be done in the future to support this, however, it's clear that Hoenn's struggle between land and sea has lasted for eons, from the time where it was a reef that sheltered Anorith, to the period in which Cranidos scurried across it's prehistoric forests, to it's eventual flooding, and rebirth.

(@wingsofachampion) Hiya! What's your favorite thing about humans? -Tropius
I...that's a strange question.
I guess having opposable thumbs? I wouldn't know how to articulate the question but I'm happy with being a human.
Also wait, are you actually a Tropius??? Or is this just one of those blogs where someone makes one for their Yamper.

Yo! Names Peonia and I’m a twenty three year old palaeontologist and museum volunteer from Galar! I’m also a fan of sewing and fashion in general.
Heard my dearest cousin was here and I cannot just let him be on a social media site without me! Who will bully him then?
Now you mayyy know me from my family members absolute dramatic bullshit but I assure you I am much, much, much more interesting then those thespian fucks.
Currently I’m out and about, traveling the world and experiencing the sights! And also researching fossil Pokémon.
So be sure to send in asks! I’m always willing to answer shit bout my baby’s and anything revolving around fossils or fossil Pokémon! Or just to chat.

Heyyyyy it’s me, @moonsdescent again….. yeah I made another Peonia blog. Felt silly.
Y’all know the deal, Rules:
No NSFW. Mails are on, all interactions welcome.
Plot:
This is Peoria five years in the future, set in the same alt future universe as sukrose, (Lanes future bede blog) and the future of @unbeatable-champ
This universe is cannon divergent, of course. There’s more hard consciences for what happened during the darkest day, I won’t be doing much spoiler work of course.

Hey there, this is Prof. Saknussemm again.
Unfortunately, most of the trouble comes from some unscrupulous people who were trespassing and had no intention of doing anything nice. But for the people who come to Meteor Falls to enjoy the caves and natural beauty, we'll be sure to leave up a message.
Thank you, I'll bring this up with the village. We've coexisted with these Zubats for generations and we'd like to continue doing so.
I'll take some photos some time later of the colony at dusk if I can.
Hi there, Prof. Andrea Saknussemm, I'm from a village near Meteor Falls, and we've had an uptick of trainers coming through the caves and disturbed the Zubat population there.
They seem to be having a hard time recovering from the ordeal, and I was hoping to get some advice on how to help them.
-PKMNFossilResearch
Good morning, Professor Saknussemm,
Thank you for your question! Fortunately, zubat are an especially hardy species of bat pokemon, hence the many species of zubat are so widely distributed around the world. After being disturbed, they will usually stay stubborn and return to their roosting spots during the day. If I recall correctly, Meteor Falls is home to a large population of greater horseshoe zubat. These are common zubat in your area, although their populations are decreasing overall.
If the trainers passing through are doing that, merely passing through, the zubat should have no problem returning to roost on their own. However, if the trainers are using a lot of sprays or chemicals such as repels as people tend to do while traversing zubat-dense areas, those can make their homes less comfortable for them and drive them to seek daytime shelter elsewhere.
Try discouraging trainers from repel use in and around Meteor Falls.
If facing swarms of zubat seems daunting, try encouraging people to travel through the caves long after sunset when the zubat will have already left for their nightly hunting. They could even make an event of waiting outside the caves about half an hour before sunset so they can watch the colony fly out together, then when they’re gone proceed into Meteor Falls.
It’s really amazing watching thousands of zubat fly off into the dusk together, I can’t recommend it enough!
