Every adult in town would tell you that something is wrong with the old abandoned factory. Some even tell stories of distorted voices and screams breaking through the silence of the night. Even the sheriff is afraid to look there for the five missing teenagers...

I was supposed to meet some friends that night. I couldn’t find any of them... ever.

I stopped at the nearest gas station. There was this car and nobody around but I didn't pay much attention, i was tired... As i got out of my car, that putrid smell hit me hard. Then a horrible scream came out of the car which started trembling. That's when i saw this frenetic abomination made of decayed flesh painfully screeching... I can’t get it out of my head.

Dimensional Martyr Condemned to wander into the void, the Dimensional Martyr manages sometimes to get partially out of its torment and burst into one dimension, grabing anything in its reach to helplessly try and free itself. Its presence is enough to drive any witness into madness.

The Pale Drifter is an inter-dimensional being that can travel between unknown dimensions and ours at will, which gives it the ability to cover tremendous distances instantly. It is five meters tall, incredibly strong, and quite agile.

Despite having no senses of hearing nor sight, it's capable of being completely aware of its surroundings in an approximately 300 meters radius and thus knows precisely where all living things within that area are, thanks to a membrane located on the back of its head. If a human is misfortuned enough to happen to be within that reach, they will get nauseous and dizzy.

Its hunting grounds are mostly big pine forests where it can silently roam high up in the trees with its two longer arms, as the additional two smaller arms are for killing and grabbing. Sometimes it'll use its horrific scream and move around to attract its prey to right where it wants them. When it is about to kill, it emits an hypnotic low frequency guttural humming that disorientates every being in a ten meters radius.

Each visit to our dimension corresponds to one victim, no more, no less. No corpse has ever been found, but there's always a blood trail that stops dead to a spot where the dimensional shift probably takes place. Witnesses of these attacks will end up in shock and soon after fall into madness. The visits of the Pale Drifter have no pattern in time nor space and can sometimes be tens, or even hundreds of years apart.

First picture taken of the creature known as "The Pale Drifter", Switzerland, September 1994.

The body of the person in the picture is nowhere to be found. The man behind the camera killed himself in 2007 in the mental hospital where he spent his life since the incident. The monster seemed interested in taking the life of only one of the two hikers... The only trace left of its appearence was a trail of the victim's blood which stopped dead between two trees.
