adrien the kind of retired model bf to tell his gorgeous gf marinette that he doesn’t think she could be a model and she’d be like oh id make a TERRIBLE model!! i could NOT sit still or pose for that long, and if i were holding any prop id drop it, and it would be the really expensive ones too- and he tells her it’s not about the technical aspect. ‘i mean as models… we’re always advertising a product of some kind, right? I just feel like… if you were modeling anything. no one would be able to focus on the product at all. they’d completely forget about anything else if your face was in the photo too. i know I wouldn’t.’ and she would just have to carry on with her day and he wouldn’t think he said anything remotely insane at all. just like really in love. also he wouldn’t even be wrong to say that

ladybug makes the observation at some point that chat noir, at the ripe age of fifteen, acts like such a dad sometimes. like he'll comment about how she should really sit up straight while theyre chilling out after patrol, and he'll start bringing a pair of binoculars so he can birdwatch from their rooftop, and he'll do that thing where after she casually mentions she's been craving strawberies lately he starts bringing industrial amounts of strawberries for her every time they meet. and she just thinks, wow, this boy must come from such a wonderful family for him to be so cute.

so when he quietly admits to her one day that he hasn't hugged his own dad in years, in fact he's not even sure if his own dad really likes him very much, her heart shatters

A lot of people seem to be confused about the deconstruction and reconstruction of the universe when it comes to the wish and everything, thinking that this is technically a new universe and that the people don't have the same memories/aren't exactly the same people but I think its more like a caterpillar/butterfly scenario.

The caterpillar is deconstructed and turned into soup to become a butterfly but its still the same creature with the same memories, just a different arrangement. The material is the same and the being is the same with the same consciousness, it just is arranged differently now and had to be broken down and rebuilt to achieve that.

I think thats more how the wish works. The universe was deconstructed and reconstructed yes, but all the materials are still the same, all the people are still the same with the same memories and consciousness. Everything is just arranged... slightly differently...

something so fucked up about Chat Noir’s whole deal is that he is in a lot of ways Adrien playing a character. Like Adrien picked up his miraculous and was told he’d be a superhero so he was like “ok, time to act like a superhero!” and he lets himself have fun w it and play up the role and let loose and kind of just allow himself to be silly and goofy and have fun and for once in his life not care about performing Perfection™.

But. But none of the other characters KNOW THAT. So everyone just sees Chat Noir and is like “look at this guy’s ego. He’s so full of himself. Surely it’d be fair to knock him down a few pegs” without being aware of how few pegs he actually HAS. He’s like the “insecure character who overcompensates in ego” trope except he’s really not doing it unironically, he’s just having a fun LARP pretending to have self worth in his off-hours but nobody else is on the same page about it being a game and he refuses to tell them. He just dramatically pouts about it and lets them laugh and pretends like he’s not internalizing it and it is almost 3 am and my brain forced me to write this instead of sleeping I’m gonna take a melatonin

imagine marinette getting told by friends and family Hey Girl. we think you might have adhd. and they cite symptoms she shows but she accidentally connects them to stuff she started doing after she became ladybug and now shes like OH NO… if i deny this disorder they will suspect my identity… YEAH I TOTALLY HAVE ADHD YOU GUYS!!!! so she thinks she’s keeping it up for her superhero life and nods along to all the tips and tricks for adhd people her loved ones find on the internet. she flashes smiles as they hand her meds that could help and only pretends to take them because she’s Lying About It Right. but then one day at patrol chat noir tells her hey um recently a friend of mine was diagnosed with adhd. have you heard of it? because i think you might have it. and her eye twitches
