A photograph of some Peruvian lilies I had on May 3rd, 2015. I didn’t have nearly the same appreciation for plants back then as I do now, but I thought these were lovely.
Peruvian lilies are said to represent devotion, friendship, and achievement.

I finished glueing down all of these pressings I did of various plants I’ve found outside or that have dropped off of my plants. My neck and back were so sore after finishing.
Also, none of you will know how hard it was to take a photo of this without ruining the picture with me and my phone reflecting off the glass (the flash helped to take this away though).

I am unreasonably excited that the azaleas in my yard are finally blooming!! I took a few blooms to press today. I feel a little nostalgic remembering how I’d walk past these to get inside after a long day at school.
They symbolize family, wealth, and elegance.

My mother bought me tulips the other day. She wanted to give them to me for Easter, but she got too excited to wait.

Despite the visible layer of pollen everywhere outside, I foraged a few things earlier today. I thought these violets looked pretty with the grass. I’ll be pressing some of the violets, but I’m using some of them in a spell, along with the grass.

This is how much Robin (jade plant) grew from August 28th, 2023 to February 28th, 2024. I did this propagation thinking the leaves would die within days, but here we are!

I’ve been in bad health since last October. I had a taxing day at the doctor’s office, so my mother bought me a new pothos plant and some roses to cheer me up. She knows how much I love plants and that they make me happy. I swear that my mood went from a 2 to a 5 in a split second when she handed them to me. Just the smallest gestures can lift someone’s mood instantly. 🌹💚
