Stepping into a hierarchical space. where it is obvious that your structural position is not the norm anymore. On the one hand it is an experience and need but on the other hand also something fake. It opens a space where I am allowed to be unsure about my own behavior, A mirror following you throughout the whole space. By every step you do, by everything you say, think or write. The mirror is more in yourself than something which can be seen from the outside. The fake part of this experience is that I as white male and hetero can always step out of it. Step out of this space, step out of this experience and I become the norm again with all the comforting invisible invisibility you get by doing this.

Sound and room frequency
A text is read in a room, the voice is recorded, then played, recorded, played,... so long, until there is nothing left but the frequency of the room.

If platforms are spaces for dialogue, then what is dialogue?
If platforms are spaces you enter, then what is space?
Are platforms simply community?
A meeting point.
A conglomerate of knowledge?
What is it to be on a platform? What is it to be present on a platform?
What is presence? Do you need a body to be present? Do you need to be connected/”online” to be present? What is online presence? What is body presence?
Is the anchor necessarily physical? Corporeal?
Where does it all come together?

Platforms are pervasive. They slip under your feet without you realizing.
You go in the subway, you are in a material platform. You enter a class, you enter a platform for exchange, for learning.
You go on facebook, you enter a platform.
You post a picture with a hashtag, you create a visual platform over which you loose control. It reaches digital spaces you would never have tought about, you are part of a large broken visual digital platform.
You say something, you believe in something: you suddenly become a part of this ideological spaceless platform.
Many types of platforms.
Physical ones: the classroom, the senate, the subway, the stage, etc.
Digital ones: Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Tumblr, Gmail, Text Message.
Ideological immaterial ones: feminism, post-colonialism, but also sexism, racism, colonialism, etc. -> nb. this is also material in many ways...
