The Humdrum Is Trauma You Stupid Sluts
Let’s go.
I’m writing this for every post I’ve ever seen daring to beg, “why? why cant Simon and Baz just be happy?” in the wake of Wayward Son. Simon Snow beat the bad guy, right? He saved the world, right? What if I told you the Humdrum wasn’t a villain? What if I said, actually, the Humdrum is suffering made tangible. Carry On is not a story about Simon Snow the hero or Simon Snow the supervillain. It’s a story about a boy long suffering coming to terms with just that.

YES!! The plot is amazing! And all that angst makes sense! And there are some very hot moments. It makes sense to me for Baz and simon to be in that kind of situation after Carry on. Can’t wait for AWTWB. ALthough if someone dies I will only accept the first book as canon, other than that I praise Rainbow Rowell.

“Everything is starting to make sense”. The series. Vol. 5: And there’s something in the way he looks at Simon.
— Based on chapter 75 and 80 from Carry On by Rainbow Rowell.
Hi friends. We are almost done with this series, this volume wasn’t part of the original schedule I had but I decided to added because I think that it perfectly represents one thing: Penny wasn’t “oblivious” about these two, she actually perceived and developed her own conclusions. I am particularly talking about the next line, which was the one that inspire this extra-no-planned volume:
And there’s something in the way he looks at Simon… I don’t think Baz has set aside the last seven years of hostility. He’s got a mad glint in his eyes for Simon.
Thank you so much for all the support thus far with this baby series. It means a lot and keep me going. Check out the other volumes if you haven’t:
Vol. 4. He shouldn’t be alone right now.
Vol. 3. She doesn’t know him better than I do.
Vol. 2. We? Since when you two are a ‘we’?
Vol. 1. As much as you watch him.

“Guys!” Bunce shrieks. “We are literally fleeing a crime. And also still in Middle America.”

A year ago today, this scene was making me especially happy. 💙💛
