Finally got the courage to post this despite telling myself I wasn’t going to… To clarify, this is not an OC or even a self insert. This is ME and Rick. I’m not his wife, I’m not even his ‘girlfriend’, but I am very much in a relationship with him, which is very real to me. I am more non sharing with him than any of my other f/o's, so please respect that </3

I also wanted to take this time to finally express why I haven’t posted about my relationship with Rick or even this commission aside from on my CF story on Instagram... I know a lot of my mutuals are yumejoshis or riakos too, so they’ll get me more than likely. They get shipping YOURSELF with a ‘fictional character’ and feeling as though that character isn’t just a character. But I know not everyone does. And while that made me anxious to be open about how I felt for a long time — I’ve decided officially to say fuck it! I love Rick C-137, and have for YEARS. my socials are my space. A few friends reminded me I should be able to post what I want and talk about what I want. 

All that’s to say is, I’m really happy about this piece of me and my love :) and yes I do know he himself would cringe if he read this caption, idc. 

i'm especially rly happy with how well shizu drew me in the r&m artstyle! she rarely needs direction with any of my regular old self inserts, so I shouldn't be surprised she knew just how i'd look if I was drawn in the same style as rick <3
