Bob/Sentry’s potential storyline feels very reminiscent of that of Bruce Banner/the Hulk. Like especially him in Ragnarok/ Infinity war where he doesn’t want to transform because he’s worried about the consequences or whether he will be able to go back. I think this would be a really interesting things for marvel to explore and it would be cool if there was a was that they could have some sort of interaction between Banner and Bob about like the struggles of their duality and their wanting to support their teams even in their “weaker” forms.

Nick Fury is such a feminist icon to me, he’s one of the longest running characters in the mcu and has never once said anything bad about women. He worked as an agent of S.H.I.E.L.D in the 80s-90s, met a crazy space soldier lady who turned out to be one of the only female pilots in the Air Force and never once doubted her capabilities for a second, powers or not. He trusted her with the fate of the world. He puts his trust into Maria to fly a ship that could crash and kill them both AND she goes on to be the founder of S.W.O.R.D. He recruited Natasha and put her as the lead on several missions as one of his best spies and he made Maria Hill deputy commander of S.H.I.E.L.D despite her getting backlash from the male agents, she was always his right hand woman. Then he makes Monica one of the leading scientists at S.A.B.E.R and trusts that this new team of badass women can save the planet yet again. Fury has never seen a woman and been like “she can’t do that she’s a GIRL” AND he’s a cat dad, what an icon.

Kind of crazy hunger games theory but for the new movie I feel like Suzanne Collins will try to prevent large amounts of things from getting cut from the movie. Like yes it’s a production and time exists but given everything she just wrote about of how editing changes things I don’t really see how she can turn around a let movies that pull out key details he produced. Obviously I get that time exists but I still hope that she can keep everything in. I especially hope that they are able to do justice to Lou Lou’s storyline and portray it well but to be honest I have no clue how that would even work.

If I say that Agents of SHIELD did more justice for Maria Hill than any other MCU projects then what. They managed to showcase her character so good in those nine minutes—both as a person, as a professional agent, and as the SHIELD's deputy director.

I said this in the tags of a reblog but I'm speaking my truth for real now:

The Honda Odyssey scene in Deadpool and Wolverine is gay sex. I feel like the queer side of the internet kind of gets that, but I also see a lot of people citing it as "flirting" or "foreplay." But as someone who has done a bit of reading and queer analysis of old, Hays-code-era films, there were times where two men lighting each other's cigarette could be interpreted as a stand-in for gay sex. Compared to that, the Honda Odyssey scene is straight-up pornographic.

Also want to send people over to a post by @bargarean drawing parallels to the jokes about cocaine use in the movie to queerness. Even if it's not "intentional" per se, I think it's an incredibly interesting interpretation of the material. Queer interpretations don't have to be the sole intention of the creator(s)! There's so many people involved in the making of a movie who all add their vision and interpretations, and so does the audience!

there is some irony to the fact that the first joke out of Deadpool's mouth in the first Deadpool movie was i know what you're thinking... whose nuts did I have to fondle to get my own movie? it rhymes with Poolverine.
