DISCORD WEBHOOKS TUTORIAL

okay so the first thing you wanna do is go to settings & go to tumblr labs

then once you're here, click 'enable tumblr labs' so it's on, then scroll all the way down & turn on 'tumblr to discord webhooks'

then go to your blog settings (you might need to refresh) scroll down & you'll see an area like this

now go to discord, if you don't already have a private/personal server for yourself - you'll need to set one up for this (unless you have a friend that won't mind this lol). you don't technically have to make a category just for webhooks, but i do recommend as it makes it easier. & then make a channel with whatever you wanna call this, if you just wanna do your url or whatever you prefer (i just do my urls but you can lit do anything as long as you know what blog it's for)

then go to server settings, then to integrations, then to webhooks & click 'create webhook'

once you've clicked 'create webhook' you'll have a screen like this, call the webhook whatever you'd like - if you want it to have the same name as the channel or whatever. set the channel to the channel you created, slap an icon on it if you'd like, & then click 'copy webhook url' & then save changes

now go back to tumblr, to that area under blog settings. paste the url you copied into the spot that says 'webhook url from discord' & toggle the notifications however you'd like. i recommend the way i have it here as that's what i use & it's what's best for getting all notifications (though i WILL tell you that it does not give notifs for answered asks if people answer them through tumblr's regular ask system & don't tag you)

& then there you have it! that'll all save & you'll get all your notifs straight to discord into the channel you created/chose & they'll look like this!
