Venus in the 8th house: these people are so magnetic it’s insane. They have a dark beauty to them that’s truly captivating. They remind me of Tim Burton characters. But being so magnetic causes a lot of people to become obsessed with them. They attract a lot of stalkers and creepy people. They tend to get sexualized constantly( people make such gross comments to them it’s shocking). I’ve seen these people get catcalled and lustful stares and comments about their body even if they aren’t wearing anything revealing. Even I’ve seen family members make inappropriate comments to these natives, things like “if you weren’t my daughter I’d….” You get the picture 🤮 (8th house ruling taboo attraction ) one of my close friends had to deal with that in her family. They may have been shamed for wearing revealing clothing of too much makeup because it’s seen as “overly sexy” or “hoochie”. People could’ve thought they were sluts even if they never had sex too it’s sad. They can get a lot of hate from people for no reason as well they may be used to people (mostly women) giving them dirty looks or ignoring them/purposely being mean to them. Their presence has such an intense affect on the people around them. Their relationships are also intense as well they attract a lot of people with a dangerous/edgy type vibe to them (junkies, drug dealers, people with a record ect). They have a provocative vibe to them so they can attract some very questionable partners at time. I’ve seen too that they are into gory kinda art or disturbing art pieces/ photography. They are also very proud of their bodies & usually embrace their sexuality. I’ve seen a lot get into nude modeling or just take a lot of pictures of their bodies. They’re more comfortable being nude than most (also this can be a big sugar baby placement as well like Venus in the 2nd).

Venus in 9th house: have such a unique glow to them. They have smiles that can light up a room and their laugh reminds me of wind chimes. I haven’t met a lot of people with this placement but the ones I met I notice they are so intelligent and well spoken. So many people are drawn to them just to hear what they have to talk about. It makes them amazing teachers/gurus. They just always seem like they know what they’re talking about so many describe them as being wide beyond their years (they usually have pretty high IQs as well, Marylin Monroe had this placement) They tend to find spouses while traveling or they can travel a lot with their partner. On the negative side these people can be very overly indulgent and sometimes believe that they are always right and their words are law. They can have a big god complex if negatively aspected.

Venus in the 10th house: give superstar vibes. These people put a lot of effort into their career and public image. Most big celebrities/ big politicians I notice have this placement. This can be a big trendsetter placement as well, you’ll notice that many people will admire you and try to copy you a lot! Whether it be you mannerisms, fashion, art style ect. For example Billie Eilish has this placement and everyone went crazy over her baggy clothes style. You have more of an opportunity to make your mark in the world more than the rest of the Venus signs. If afflicted however you can become too obsessed with recognition and status to the point where you abandon important things and people in your life to attain your goals, this can cause someone who has sorta tunnel vision when negatively aspected. They don’t really jump into relationships fast without becoming their friend first.( which can be a little annoying to more fast paced types) at first you can make your partner feel friend zoned but the ones who are patient enough to let you open up usually win your heart. They usually put a big emphasis on friends in general and could have a lot of them. i always thought so! especially considering how many people with a strong/well-positioned mars in their charts tend to get tattoos, but i do know some astrologers think of them as saturnian bc of their permanent quality.

i couldn't really agree with this bc getting tattoos seems to weaken saturnian themes in a person's life (like career prospects, reputation, etc) ((especially worth noting that saturn is debilitated in mars-ruled signs)).

also it generally being a form of scarring the body (which is ruled by mars), needles being used to create them, generally known to be be physically painful, very martian imo.

i think at it's roots, the concept of two people coming together to bring each other pleasure is definitely venusian in nature. and the more 'enjoyable' parts of sex like orgasms, casual sex and hookups in general does point to venus' joy in the 5h as well. and sex is used as an act of creating life - the 5h, house of creativity comes to mind in that aspect too. (also i have noticed people usually have notable sexual experiences during a significant 5h transit)

however the actual physical act of it is martian I'd say as well, especially in terms of things like stamina, the actual sex acts performed, and the physical strength exerion involved. but i agree that misogyny in a male driven-society is why we've currently deemed the martian aspects the most important ones.

i think the 8h rears its head when sex is misused or used for anything other than venusian themes (venus' debilitation in scorpio) such as how sex is viewed as something of inherent secrecy, that has an inherent power dynamic, something shameful and filthy, and in some cases, something traumatic. as well as the more extreme and taboo parts of sex, like bdsm.

and i think it can also fit in with other 8h themes how in how, when ill-used sex can be used as a means of acquiring another's assets, money, secrets, infections, etc. And how more unconventional parts of sex like kinks/fetishes are linked to psychology.

Mars doesn't read as a sex planet to me as a traditional astrologer because it joys in the 6th House of illness, injuries and enemies. It just doesn't, it just gives STis and being victimized by someone, hate me all you want for that. That's just what it's giving and perhaps any associations with sex Mars has is because of that, because of its nature.

And I understand people dislike traditional for that reason, but it doesn't hold back. I literally said Venus-Mars is connected with experiencing infidelity, but what do you think happens when people cheat? You get your heart (Venus) broken (Mars) and sometimes, you get an STI if you're unlucky. The most perfect example being criminals because Mars rules criminals and prisons are full of men bringing home STIs to their wives and girlfriends, like Mars being hot and dry, ruling inflammation and fevers, fevers are associated with illness, like I can't get behind it... No pun.

Mars is not the type of sex we think it is in all honestly. Like maybe if you're into some wild shit.

However, Venus is symbolic of sex and gives that signification to the 5th House where she joys. Planet of love, the term "making love." Obviously sex leads to children and especially leads to children if you're doing it well.

Don't even bring up the 8th to me, ask anybody who has gone through the 8th House year and it's not about sex. I won't debate with astrologers over much, but I will always have time for the sex debate!

veryyy very true - ive been studying it for years and only recently felt that i had enough knowledge to start a blog of my own - the first post i made (a beauty-centered one which was completely random tbh) got hundreds of notes on it and the subsequent ones (which weren't beauty related) haven't.

Even when observing other people's posts. It's the same. Love/Sex/Beauty gets all the attention but posts that are not focused on that barely get any.

Don't get me wrong, the sexual and hot parts of Astrology can be fun. That is not all it is though.

zuko and azula: an analysis into fire and character arcs - part 1:

zuko

(disclaimer: i'm not a professional astrologer, these are just insights from a person who is still learning astrology and making connections along the way. thus, please feel free to correct me if necessary, and take my posts with a grain of salt)

aries, as we know is the sign ruler over fire in the zodiac, both literally and symbolically.

so generally it also rules over connotations of fire-related themes such as:

vitality

passion

heat

physical prowess

combat/violence/war

strength

identity

independence

leadership

masculinity

and lastly, funnily enough, physical markings (such scars or tattoos)

zuko's arc is one that begins with fire, quite literally actually, as the act of his father (the central masculine figure in his life at the time) burning his face in punishment for his defiance (which as we know, was zuko considering the lives of the fire nation soldiers that his father saw as disposable) lights the flame that sets him down the path of his character arc.

consequently, zuko making the 'mistake' of showing kindness and subsequently suffering this traumatic event leads to him embracing all of the negative associations of aries energy, as seen in his season one persona.

his determination is ruthless and unyielding, he's quick to anger, regularly throwing temper tantrums and displaying a demanding aggressiveness towards himself and the people working for him. fiercely independent, and refusing any moments of contemplation or rest.

as his character arc progresses, him choosing to sever ties with this version of himself (symbolically shown by him cutting off his topknot) and embarking on a new journey (with a healthier version of masculinity to guide him found in uncle iroh).

this next part of his story is where I'd say libra's polarity with aries comes into play, as in this part of his journey, zuko experiences a calmer, more peaceful existence, shaped by comforts and pleasures such going on a date, working in the teashop, making connections and most importantly, experiencing kindness from others. these interactions I'd say, are crucial in bringing him back into balance.

by 'zuko alone', his decision to wander alone (aries also rules over independence remember !!) into a village and being taken in by a small boy's family unfolds in him having to revisit his wounds around how violence and combat were a central theme of his upbringing, most memorably, him being so accustomed to violence in his upbringing that his idea of a kind gesture is gifting a weapon to a child.

though he's making solid progress, he falls back into old patterns by jumping at the prospect of allowing his father to believe he's k*lled the avatar and regained his honour. though of course, this win is short-lived because its brings him back into his old pattern of anger and self-destruction.

ultimately, his decision to disavow these teachings by finally confronting his father, and criticising his lifelong childhood abuse, he becomes aware of the dangers of perpetuating the circle of violence and how it ultimately leads to repeated suffering (something zuko has personally learned all too well at this point).

in an effort to avoid this, he chooses the path of peace and kindness and subsequently joins the avatar, leading to him finally reaching the developed side of aries in his identity: using his strength, leadership, and determination (aries) as a means of bringing safety, kindness and peace (libra).

(I'd also add that the evolution of his relationship to firebending (literal, physical fire) is also indicative of this - his explosive and aggressive fighting style born of anger and frustration in season one - in comparison to how it transforms after his face-heel-turn leads to his firebending being clearer, stronger and more refined season three.)

- Aquarius Risings are good at communicating in love thanks to their Virgo/Leo axis of 7th and 8th house signs, they may also crave a lot of physical touch

riize group chart - a reading (mostly observations lol)

(this is kind of unstructured tbh and will basically just be me making note of random things i notice in the chart 😌)

💮 the first thing that stood out to me was their aquarius rising - i personally haven't seen a kpop group with an aquarius in their ascendant. aquarius is all about modernity and trends - i would say this is illustrated in that distinctive 'gen z feel' that people usually mention when it comes to them (astrologically this is because gen z - generationally - have their uranus and neptune in aquarius).

💮 their midheaven falling in their 11h also indicates their public perception (midheaven) is highly reliant on their presence and image on social media (11h) - i'd say this is seen in their modern and unique marketing style that makes heavy use of tiktok and trends.

💮 the 3h aries chiron can signal some damaging rumours as chiron is all about wounds/painful events (especially in a volatile sign such as aries) and the 3rd house is all about the spread of information and communication - ultimately seen in the rumors that led to seunghan's departure from the group.

💮 this is also exacerbated by that 8h sun-mercury conjunction which is indicative of hidden (8h) information (mercury) coming to light (sun). (might indicate possible scandals in the future - i'd have to check the transits to be sure).

💮 but they have a very dignified and well-placed moon! their 4h taurus moon-jupiter conjunction is probably why everyone immediately felt very soft and protective over them they have a very notable familiarity that people respond to.

additionally, a dignified moon (because the moon exalts in taurus) and benefics in the 4h (i.e. moon and jupiter) in the chart of a public figure is usually a good indicator that there will always be a place for them in the hearts of the general public 💌.

💮sagittarius midheaven and 9h libra mars definitely shows why they hit it off with international audiences, they even have their rising at a sagittarius degree too! this usually gives great appeal with foreign people as sagittarius rules over foreign lands - a very worldly and laidback feel.

💮also midheaven at a libra degree (7°) - known for their pretty boy-ness.

💮 there's alot of virgo/taurus energy here too so a definite feel of being more grounded and down to earth.

💮 the 2h pisces saturn and neptune can show that they had some trouble finding their footing in the beginning, like the actual construction (2h) of the group was possibly difficult (saturn) and unclear and required some sacrifices (pisces) at first. which we are now aware of regarding shotaro and sungchan initially being nct members without a unit before riize's inception.

jeno's habit of accidentally breaking things with his physical strength can actually be attributed to his natal mars square uranus aspect.

physical strength is ruled by mars in the natal chart. as it represents all things physical such as stamina, endurance, strength, exercise, etc.

taurus mars specifically is a placement known for bringing herculean strength to the native due to taurus being represented by the ox in the zodiac (which is ironic since taurus is a debilitated sign for mars to be in lol).

jeno not only has a natal taurus mars, he has a taurus stellium that also rules over his sun, jupiter and saturn.

as shown below, addition to this his mars is in conjunction with both his taurus jupiter and his taurus saturn, leading to enhanced (jupiter) physical strength and endurance (saturn).
