At 32 I had been heavily drinking for over a decade, ping ponging between depression and anxiety, still in touch with my toxic father and believed his most abrasive of all his ‘lessons’ “no matter what you do you will never be good enough.” In the 8 years between photos I a relationship started and ended, and although it was never meant to last it was the first time I was given to spaced to be myself and be loved for it. Which is the most powerful of gifts and on the seed of belief a beautiful tree has been growing.
