Witchy Nail Polish vs. Nature
I'm torn over continuing to use my designated "witchy" nail polish since it's mostly made of synthetic compounds and petroleum products, but I don't want to just send it to a landfill either. It's charged for confidence-boosting so maybe if I use it now, I'll have the confidence to make the right decision on it long-term.
But there's the rub.

Tumblr media
There's always just been something super witchy about this trail. I've decided I need to write an enchantment that takes the whole length of walking to finish reciting it. I'm gonna make this a walk to raise energy and charge my tools I think. (Mind subject to change).

Black Lives Matter
What else do I say?
Black
Lives
MATTER
I never wanted to do newsy things in my blog, but I don't feel right pretending life is normal when everything about life lately has been the stuff of nightmares and disaster movies. I've been fortunate privileged to be out in the middle of nowhere, but I feel uneasy knowing that there's so much shit happening and the people who can make changes are stepping in it and not even looking under their shoes. I think that metaphor is accurate...

Hey Tumblr, the Bots You Banned are Still Here
And I'm getting followed by p*rn bots. Still. Maybe I should see if I can change my blog to pretend I'm a minor. Would the bots not follow if I did that?

"Tumblrweeds" In A Ghost Town
Tumblr media
This place is a ghost town these days. Some of the blogs I follow had quit in a show of solidarity of those affected by the ban. I get that we're trying to hurt whoever the parent company is this month but sheesh, my witchy feed has dried up and this site is getting boring.

Breast of Fresh Air?
I understand the significance of s*x-positivity here but frankly I never wanted to see that stuff on my corner of this hellsite, and I'm glad for the p*rn ban. Why can't they just start it today? I'm ready for all these bots to just vanish at least.

"Dangers" of Deity Work?
I don't know what algorithm found my blog but suddenly I'm seeing pagan posts about deity worship can be dangerous. But they're like, not giving any examples of actual or perceived harm caused by deities, nor even any anecdotal hearsay. That's not only misleading information, but also kind of aloof versions of idle almost-threats.
So... what if I accidentally do something the Morrigan isn't impressed with I'm gonna wake up with bruises or something? Trip on an uneven sidewalk as a car goes by? I dunno, cuz gatekeeper pagans just want to keep others in the dark I guess. I mean sure, maybe be cautious of worshipping Cythrawl, a Welsh god of chaos (and not the humorous kind of chaos). I'm not sure if he was actually worshipped thousands of years ago, but maybe just blamed for crazy shit happening.

What did I just say?
This is one of the books I checked out from the library last week, "Walking the Twilight Path" by Michelle Belanger, and it's got a ch*rch pamphlet tucked in it full of verses about where I want to tell these people to go!

Occult books in Libraries
I'm always surprised when I see actual occult books in some rural libraries. These are the most frequently stolen book types. And I wonder if it's ch*rch ladies or youth p*stors breaking their own commandm*nts to do just that. Like, practice what you preach.

Here for the pagan stuff
Came here for the pagan witchy stuff, not so much into memes and news. Those can be found elsewhere.
