(the living weapon)

Sixshot is a being forged for devastation, yet haunted by purpose. He doesn’t grace the pages often, but when he does, his presence is apocalyptic—cities fall, enemies are silenced, and death follows like a shadow. He is the embodiment of the phrase “one-bot army” a walking cataclysm and beneath the polished metal and silent discipline lies a question that refuses to die: “What am I?” and “Is this what I was meant to be?”

He lacks the cold, calculating genius of Shockwave. He does not wield treachery like Starscream wields a dagger in the dark

But he is a weapon. Pure, precise, and perfected

WEAPON STRUCTURE

Created through the Phase Sixer program, he was stripped of identity and forged into function. His mind trained to obey without question, his spark conditioned to feel nothing. He was not allowed doubt, empathy, or regret—only efficiency, only obedience. He was to be the hand that delivers death without conscience. The war machine perfected

But something broke through. Somewhere along the line, between the screams and the silences, he began to think. Not just react, not just follow. He began to wonder: "Who am I without a command?"

"What is a weapon with no target but itself?"

When he started asking questions which not supposed to, that was the most delicious part

When peace arrived, war end, it didn’t bring freedom—it brought emptiness. Without orders, without bloodshed, without a place in the grand design, Sixshot was not liberated. He was lost. No glory, no praise—those meant nothing to him. He had simply followed programming, done what he was made to do. And now, in a world that no longer needs his kind, he wanders in silence, questioning whether he ever truly was anything more than a tool

Despite his function, there are glimpses—small but undeniable—of something else. He does not slaughter the weak unless explicitly ordered. He shows restraint, not out of mercy, but out of code. A warrior’s honor. He refuses to destroy those who cannot stand against him—not because he sees value in them, but because he sees no value in a victory without challenge

Perhaps it is pride

Perhaps it is a residue of something like morality, long buried beneath layers of violence

that is what separates him from Overlord. Where Overlord revels in carnage, basks in the suffering of others, Sixshot feels nothing but the weight of repetition

He does not enjoy death. He is tired of it

To others, he is a legend. A myth. A name whispered before annihilation but to me and himself, he is a question left unanswered

And the only thing I'm sure about him, besides the fact that he's a walking weapon of mass destruction, is that he wants to be something. Something more than just a tool to use

INSIDE AND THE WITHIN

And while I won't say much about his personality, because we already know, he is heartless (maybe - maybe not, that's up to you) cruel, sophisticated, tactical, everything a warrior and a murderer should be, and when it comes to redemption? No, that's not going to happen, at least in my opinion. He didn't do anything wrong, that's what he thought and honestly? That's a fair point, what he did was just follow orders, and that's the right thing for him to do, because it was his duty, his ideology, something that he never questioned

But maybe in terms of character development, he could have more morality, compassion? It's unlikely but not impossible. But in my opinion, he won't change much, he'll still be the cold, rough, strong bot that he is

And while I say he wants to be more than just a weapon, deep down he knows the cycle of killing for him never ends. He's left the field once, only to come back. That tells us something. But maybe if he finds something tough to hold on to, he can be the honorable warrior he dreams of being. Fight for something, kill for someone: not just because he have to and not just he was ordered

note - Sixshot is my secret fav character by far. I mean, he can transform into six different forms (If this isn't considered the pinnacle of transforming robots, then I don't know who deserves that title) and such a cool villain

I may not have grown up with the Transformers series, especially during G1, but thank goodness IDW publishing, did such a wonderful job of interpreting his character as gracefully as he deserved

I was beginning to Hate Hasbro again because I thought they will keep making LAZY White Ultra magnus Repaints Again until I saw a Possible Teaser for Missing Link Magnus

(And Of Course Missing Link Ultra Magnus is Made by Takara Tomy because Takara keeps making Better Transformers Toys than Hasbro even Today)

Biography:

The opening scene, of the 1st ever episode of the cartoon, April is doing a live, location, news report on the growing crime wave sweeping New York. Too accurate with her findings, thugs are sent to make an example of April, causing her to flee for her life, where the Turtles come to her rescue.

She’s taken to their lair, where she learns of their origin. April’s initial mistrust of the Turtles & her intentions to make a news story about them, force the Turtles to keep her close by.

The Turtles save April again & both begin to depend on each other, with April’s job proving to be vital to them, from time to time. The Turtles subsequently help April get her stories, while she’ll never expose them, to the public or go along with her bosses wishes & present them in a bed light.

With any narrative, or character progression ceasing from the start of season 3, April like every other aspect of the show, failed to evolve throughout the next 5 seasons. Constantly getting herself into trouble through her investigative journalism, that usually required her to be rescued by the Turtles, April would inevitably fail to learn from her mistakes, an episode or two later.

Even when April wasn’t been careless, she’d still find herself in trouble or been kidnapped. There was never any attempt from the character to become more self resourceful or even learn to defend herself. From time to time April would save the day, but that was few & far betwen.

The revamp in the red sky seasons, would have April go freelance, after her usually harmless clashes with her boss over the Turtles became more serious. April even exposed the shows new main villain, Lord Dregg as a false hero, though she still needed saving from him in the last ever episode.

The Fred Wolf era of April never had a romantic attachment to Casey Jones, due to his sporadic appearances. She was a product of her time, more often a damsel than a heroine, but is undoubtedly the most famous version of the character.
