I really want to go pick up my old galar team. I used to battle there so much and I visit my team as often as possible but I miss them. I should see about bringing them with me back home or just traveling around galar with them and my current team. I think they would love it there, especially Flare there's so much space to run there

This includes: when releasing mons you don't want to train do it in their proper habitats, give them to other trainers (I recommend new trainers who want to battle with a mon they haven't battled with before, just make sure they know how to and can care for and train them first), keep them as pets, and worst case scenario give them to a shelter!

In my experience I've even had a few competitive battlers pick up some of the more unruly mons to train and I still get updates on how they're doing every so often! A majority of competitive battlers adore their pokemon and have been very reasonable when I tell them about the risks of mass releasing pokemon while breeding for certain traits and things like that.

I may not be big on comp battling myself, but please stop acting like all comp battlers mistreat their pokemon when they often treat them better than a lot of common folk I've met do.

it’s always ‘competitive battlers don’t care about Pokemon’ but like every competitive battler I know is like . This is my garchomp. She has sad wet eyes and so sometimes I have to put her in sweaters to calm her down. Also she has won several championships.
