Okay so, something I don’t see people talking about at all is how the Falin/Dragon chimera moves. How Falin’s muscle memory is overriding the dragon’s. She needs to hit something? Well then she’s going to reel back her arm of course, even if it isn’t the thing making contact. There’s something so wrong yet so right about it, a subtle thing that shows off the awkwardness of her new form that displays the body horror front and center. Something that when you stop to think about it, makes her less efficient, because if she was perfect, she would move separately, casting with her arms while fighting with her wings and tail. But she isn’t perfect, she’s a beautiful abomination.

another completely unfounded "what happened to mel's arm" theory:

mel once descended into the underworld (via erebus or temple of styx) and let herself die quickly so she would get resurrected into the pool of styx back at the house of hades; trying to use a back door to get closer to chronos. but chronos of course has taken the house over, and mel's arm just happened to exit the pool first (grasping for purchase because she'd never done it before/wouldn't rise dramatically from the pool headfirst like zag). so chronos chopped her arm off and closed the pool from visitors, booted her back to where she came from. but since she's both a princess of the underworld and was injured in the house of hades (we know violence is not "allowed" per house rules), her arm isn't "gone" it's just ghostly

Do you ever think about how the show emphasizes Reigen and food constantly. All the time. He's constantly eating and it's how he shows affection to Mob, and it's how he apologizes to Mob for prioritizing clients over him, and it's how he desperately tries to win Mob back over when he crosses the line with him. He's practically begging him not to be mad despite the fact he dug his own grave. And when he's at his lowest it's very clearly emphasized that he's not eating. Hunger is used to constantly emphasize Reigen's need for connection and how he connects with people and it always makes me insane. The first time we see Reigen being an actually pretty good mentor to Mob is when he's eating, so many of the times we see Reigen do the right thing is related to trying to provide for people the only way he knows how to do without messing it up. I don't know where I'm going with this because I haven't analyzed it nearly enough, but god is it so interesting. One day I'm gonna sit down and study food symbolism in mp100 but for now I am just trying to get my Thoughts together. What is up there. I love this show
