Persians and Meowths are often hunted by poachers for their rare head features. For a time this practice was so rampant that a ban was placed on the buying and selling of their jewels and coins. This has lead to the phrase “rare as a Persian’s jewel” in common nomenclature.

Kabutops are very difficult to train as part of a team due to their aggressive and solitary nature. However, when they are properly trained and raised in a team environment, they become an extremely loyal asset to any trainer.

The leaf on a lotad’s back requires constant watering when in captivity. In the wild, lotads rarely leave the water because of their need for constant hydration. If deprived of water for long, lotads will grow very weak and quite sick.

Serperiors enjoy burrowing in tall grass, leaf piles, and sand. They have been known to lay in the same position for hours simply because they find their setting too comfortable to move. This behavior is also extremely useful for when they hunt for prey.

A Sableye’s gems grow due to the massive amount of minerals found in their diet. The colors, shapes, placements, and sizes of these gems all depend on what minerals the particular Sableye ingests. Due to this, no two Sableye look exactly the same.
