Skeledirge Facts
Tumblr media
(Art by ZeilerTobi on Deviantart)
-The scientific name for the Skeledirge line is "Crocodylus Cantus" which roughly translates to, "Singer pebble-worm"
-There's an old Paldean myth of a powerful skeledirge who sings somber songs to lure in her victims. The myth states that when she dies, her soul turns into the songbird on its snout
-Skeledirge have over a hundred distinct vocalization, which can change in pitch and volume. These are used for communication (headcanon from @pokebiologist)
-Skeledirge are the most vocal reptilian pokemon
-They're often used for singing at morgues because their cries sound mournful but can help calm down the people listening to it
-A lot of myths and stereotypes show skeledirge being aggressive and evil, but skeledirge are actually gentle giants. It's very sympathetic, and takes care of weaker pokemon that need help. While the ones in the wild do sometimes hunt, they are mostly herbivores
-Later myths appearing in the 1800s shows of skeledirge guiding people to the afterlife
-The saying, "Spitting Fire," came from Skeledirge commanding the bird on its snout to attack (it literally spits its fire)
Tumblr media
-Skeledirge are very popular for Dia de los Muertos celebrations, and a lot of the clothing they wear during that time was based on them
Tumblr media
(Art by Lilroundpumpkin on Twitter)
-Skeledirge are related to the Feraligatr and Krookodile line
-The 'birds' perched on their snouts are common symbols of innocence and beauty in Paldean artwork
-Skeledirge don't like eating their food raw, and will char their meals for consumption
-For trainers who worry about their Skeledirges (and their prevos) throat getting soar from singing, Lum berries are a good way to help them feel better
-Wild Skeledirge often bury their Fuecoco eggs in the sand to keep them warm. She'll then sit by there and only hunt in that area as a way of protecting them
-Skeledirges lifespan (including its prevos) is about 75-80 years. The longest living one was accorded to be over 120!

Facts about the Bulbasaur Family
Tumblr media
1. Ivysaur was originally bipedal
Tumblr media
That’s right, Ivysaur was initially depicted as being bipedal. Pokemon Red and Blue had a lot of sprites that have differences from how they are depicted today and many fans agree that they are odd. However, some Pokedex entries also imply Ivysaur being bipedal, at least until its flower grows too large. Its original Red/Blue entry states “When the bulb on its back grows large, it appears to lose the ability to stand on its hind legs.” Later games, including Sword and Shield, repeat this entry.
2. Ivysaur was also the first Pokemon created out of the Bulbasaur family
Tumblr media
Ivysaur was one of the very first monsters created for the Capsule Monsters pitch, before evolution was even conceptualized. Venusaur was later designed as its evolution, who was then used to base Bulbasaur on. This makes Bulbasaur the last of its family to be created.
3. The flower on Venusaur’s back is based on the corpse flower
Tumblr media
The flower on Venusaur resembles the rafflesia arnoldii, which is also known as the corpse flower. It is a large flower with a strong and foul odor which is often compared to decaying fish and rotting corpses.
4. Bulbasaur is only one of two starters to have a dual-type in its base form.
Tumblr media
Bulbasaur is a Grass/Poison type and was the only base starter to have a second type until the Grass/Flying Rowlet was introduced in Generation VII.
5. The names of the Bulbasaur family were censored on the GTS in Generation V
Tumblr media
The censor for the GTS censored Bulbasaur, Ivysaur, and Venusaur because their names contained the letters ‘sau’ which also happened to spell an offensive German word. Because of this, players had to nickname their Pokemon from the Bulbasaur line if they wanted to trade them.
6. Venusaur is the first Pokemon in the national dex to have a gender difference.
Tumblr media
It may seem subtle, but starting in Generation IV, Venusaur gains a small gender difference. Females have a seed in the center of their flowers that males do not. This seed disappears if a female Venusaur mega-evolves or gigantamaxes since gender differences are not retained.

Pokemon IRL Au: starters, theories, and Domestication.
So I was watching one of those, 'What If (-this state-) had starter pokemon' videos and i just kinda went off with my imagination, this prompt starts with my initial comment on the video, so sorry that it just flow as well as it does when seen as a comment on a video.
The mental image of the version of our world where pokemon exist, and each State apparently selectively breeding their own unique set of starters and probably have a f**k ton of 'regional variants' that are basically just a paldea Tauros situation all over the country just scrambles my brain a bit to much.
Like one states starter has a evolutionary ancestor thats treated like a infestation in some of the other states! A raccoon pokemon starter that now has three stages, when in some of the other states a raccoon pokemon that the starter descended from is a two stage, but its evolved form is strong as f**k, like pseudo legendary status strong!
imagine all the regular pokemon we know that had populations caught and domesticated into starter pokemon, that'd be so freaking cool! like, they'd have to breed with other pokemon of the same egg group to be made a certain type and desired move set. imagine the type of breeding methods it takes to develope the Torrent, Overgrow, and Blaze abilitys, we all know there's a bug type version called Swarm, but how do they develope in the breeding of starter pokemon. if you think about it from the stand point of, gain more power when your backs against the wall, it becomes a little morbid in a sense. Do you actively have them fight in a way that forces them to give it beyond their all when they are in trouble?
imagine if the Elemental monkeys were an attempt to breed some starter pokemon from the same evolutionary(darwinian) ancestor, but the original breeders(who were probably spread across the world in different isolated places, and swapped around certain members to other breeders to prevent incest breeding) stopped part way through, and just released the monkeys, and because they all lived together in labs the trio of species naturally are drawn too and live along side each other! makes me curious about the original, maybe it was a triple branch evo, that leads to a dual type in each one, which is why it was chosen, and where the stone evolution was from. Maybe it wasn't even the same types as the elemental monkeys, but were secondary typings, like a normal type that evolves into three dual types of Dark/fire, Psychic/water, or Ghost/Grass using the Dusk, Dawn, and shiny stones? I wonder what the final results would have been like, maybe they would have a hidden ability that allowed them apply Stab to moves based on the type of evo stone they were holding! The theme these three had was Chefs if I remember correctly.
I'm sure some species had the triple stage evos naturally, but I'm certain not all of them had them.
I'd love to see domesticated descendants of known pokemon that were breed into starter pokemon, like a Fire starter that descended from Lucario, of course none of the stages could be called Lucario after its domestication and breeding.
Maybe I should do something with this? Like I come up with a large group of wild fakemon based on animals found in my state and those around it, and choose three to be made into starters, I'll probably use that Raccoon example, I've been seeing alot of Raccoon recently, but only as roadkill, which is pretty morbid, but also a somewhat good inspiration, ghost typing, but for the wild ancestor thats still running around.
-maybe in this Au, someone has actually bred The Shinx line to be Dark type? Though I never understood everyone's obsession with being mad about that, Incineroar is literally a wrestler, I dont see people being mad its not a fire/fighting type, and I don't care about if its because of the drama of Fire/Fighting type starters. Same thing with Absol, it has Psychic powers to perceive incoming disasters, and its a pure dark type, I dont see people getting mad about that! Its dark type literally only aligns with its emo obsession of needing to be mysterious and socially awkward!
-also, this breeding thing could contribute to more powerful versions of pokemon. Mega evolutions literally just stacks the biological potential of the pokemon into what it'll naturally develope into in the future, and unlocks some dormant genes. I'm sure you could literally breed that kind of result into a species. Maybe its how 'mega evolution' could exist in this universe, just, literal battle bred breeds of pokemon. I'm sure the tributes of the Primal Paradox pokemons designs could work for 'Mega Bred' breeds. Maybe the idea developed from some old action show, and the show used the fictional 'mega evolution' as the gimmick in it, and people just, liked it and applied natural logic and science to it and bred these Uber strong pokemon.
-the gender ratio of starter pokemon was also likely bred on purpose, and likely most females are held so its harder for others to bred their own for a profit.

Can you tell me any care tips you have to help a Agressive Hydreigon get used to Domestic living. Hyde(named for his occasional flipping between docile and angry behavior) has been with me for 4 years, he was originally the pokemon of a particularly horrible hunter who drugged his pokemon to make them stronger as well as dull down their behavior, making them basically obedient puppets, he was raised to be aggressive to take down wild pokemon quickly and with out mercy.
The hunter tried hunting down a Rayquaza, which was mega evolution capable(recent studied show that only certain Rayquaza are capable of mega evolving at all, likely descendents of family groups that were exposed by the Kalosian Ultimate Weapon's blast when it entered the upper atmosphere. I was able to help the Rayquaza by using my dad Keystone to help it mega evolve. It left afterwards, and we apprehended the hunter, but Hyde's pokeball broke, and the rush of the battle had flushed the drugs out of his system, and he started rampaging, my Sylveon, Varian, and Audino, Varia, were able to apprehend him and I quickly caught him in a ultra ball, which I later swapped him into a Friend ball at the pokemon center.
Due to the species natural alignment with aggressive behavior because of human pressure in the past, as well as being under pressure in general(being the hunting pokemon of that hunter), its been a long process to be able to even pet his snout, much less show give him an affectionate pet under the jaw. The fact I have a few fairy types, doesn't help him because of his instincts basically screaming at him 'fight, danger, predators, fight, Danger, danger, run, fight'. I know that Hydreigon are receptive to music, especially emotionally inspiring music, so I've built his Den, yes, i built him a fully dedicated den in the backyard with concrete and rubar, with speakers inside to softly play a soundtrack of emotionally inspiring songs, primarily songs like Under Pressure, True Kinda Love, and even the Trainer Anthem. I know he likes them cause when hes in his more docile moods I can hear him humming and purring the melody of the songs.
The doctors at the pokemon center think he might have some condition, I forget the name, but its basically, blind and irrational anger that'll set him into a tantrum, anger even he won't understand, one of the more cynical ones immediately said he should be taken from me and put down, some thing I near immediately attacked him for even saying. His colleagues were not happy with him. I also have a Slowking that I've placed into a Therapy pokemon teaching Program, Hyde had a Slowking Therapist before, but he's recently been getting less and less receptive at times, his aggression rising randomly out of nowhere and nearly attacking Her(the slowking therapist). So I figured having a familiar face also help would work, plus my Slowking, Orion, is an experienced battler unlike the original therapist, and can stop Hyde from going on a rampage when he loses control with Hypnosis and Psychic, and Baton Passing Calm Mind boosts.
Hyde isn't one of my battlers. He's been placed on some meds for the sake of the Dissociative anger condition he has. And he's been starting to just try to avoid people and other pokemon in general, something I see as some form of process, cause he clearly doesn't want anyone near him if he goes into another Irrational Blind rage.
There have been only one instance I've battled with him, when that Hunter came back for revenge. I was nearly wiped off the face of the earth by not one, not two, but THREE HYPER BEAMS, all with the Delivery Factor(i have a post under my (#sean's expanded pokefacts) tag) turned off, then Hyde comes flying in, and takes the hit, not only saving my life, but putting him on the literal line between life and death, he had so much of his scales and skin burned off, I could see HIS RIBS, its a miracle he didn't get completely incinerated, much less didn't keel over then and there. But he just stood up, looked back at me, and turned towards the Hunter and his pokemon, and roared. It felt like the very world was roaring out in defiance, to protect. I cried so much through out the battle, Hyde wouldn't back down no matter how much I begged him, he just kept fighting, he listened to every battle order I had except to return, he even Used the move Return, and OHKO the Mega Tyranitar(i have no clue how this fucker got a Mega Wave bracelet, that knockoff Keystone that basically mind controls pokemon it mega evolves) with it.
He won the entire battle, and when we got him to the pokemon center, he was taken into Intensive care for two weeks, and somehow, despite everyone thinking he'd be dead on night one, he survived for two weeks and made a miraculous recovery. This was three months ago, and I've only just recently been able to pet him on the snout.
Anything you can recommend I do? I've been thinking of trying to do music myself, like that Ryuki guy in Alola.
(-note, the Cynical guy that said Hyde should be killed, tried to kill him while he was in Intensive care, full on tried to Murder Hyde with fucking poison, while he was practically half dead, after saving my God damn life. When he was caught, thankfully before he could do anything, I may have attacked him, utterly shattered his jaw and shoulder. He was also Fired and completely humiliated, he'll never be a doctor again. I also didn't get in trouble for attacking him, I did get a Warning from Officer Jenny, but even she was smiling at what I did to that ass)
Wow that's, a lot.
Well first off is try to keep the fairy types away, good job in getting him his own space and giving him something he really enjoys, that being music. It seems as if he's bonded to you rather well if he was willing to take that massive of a hit for you.
Now I hate to say it but you might not ever get on the same level of, well affection as me and my hydreigons, you said yourself they're wired to more aggressive tendencies, all dragons are tbf, hydreigons just get a worse rep because dark type. And especially with Hyde it sounds like with his past he might never want affection like you're used to. The closest you might ever get is touching his snout. He's a dragon, and dragons, especially dragons that have been hurt like he has, might never trust again.
Now, personally I'd take him to a dragon specialist, if you can find a hydreigon specialist I'd take him there @ask-professor-dracaena is a good resource and very good at handling very aggressive mons. I'm good with the normal day to day stuff but if there's hormone issues or the fact that there is some residual damage from the drugs he was on for victini knows how long. They'd be able to help.

Shiny Pokemon Biology
Hola 👋 We've all heard of shiny pokemon, right? Well quick rundown: shiny pokemon are pokemon with a color variation that is said to shine (hence the name). They're extremely rare, with chances of finding one being 1 in 4,096 (and even rarer in some regions!). But where do they come from? Why are they so rare?
Tumblr media
Biology
Shiny pokemon have a gene which is known as "shinism." The gene makes the pokemon have an unusual color and also shine. The gene is a mutation, meaning it can appear randomly. Two normal pokemon might have a shiny baby, and two shiny pokemon could have a normal baby. BUT one thing that stumped biologists for a long time is, "why do pokemon of different regions have a higher chance of being shiny?"
Here's the common theory: Breeding pokemon from different regions have a higher chance of having shiny babirs due to the fact that their genes come from different places, and the offspring's genetics become unstable because of that. The unstable genetics are more likely to cause the mutation, and a shiny pokemon is 5x more likely to come from that egg.
Tumblr media
Being a shiny pokemon in the wild is incredibly dangerous, especially if you're prey. The gleaming of their bodies can attract predators, poachers, etc. They're also more prone to blindness and eye damage, as their eyes can lack melanin. That's also a reason why it's so rare.
Scams and Poachers
I felt the need to talk about this. We've all heard of hacked shinier, right? Well, hacked shinies are shiny pokemon that are bred in dangerous and illegal conditions. They're almost always part of an illegal pokemon trade.
These places involve inbreeding, starvation, unhygienic conditions, etc. This pokemon's only purpose is to breed. And them they sell/trade the pokemon to trainers who think it's a good deal. You need to be wary on where you are getting or trading your shiny pokemon.

Facts about the Squirtle Family
Tumblr media
1. Squirtle is based on the minogame
Tumblr media
Squirtle is based on the Japanese legend of the minogame, which was a turtle that lived for 10,000 years and grew a tail made of seaweed. This may be the reference for Squirtle’s tail.
2. Wartortle breathes through its butthole
Tumblr media
Okay, we don’t know that for sure, but Wartortle is stated in its Pokedex to store air in its tail before taking long dives, and its tail resembles wind waves as well. This is a reference to the fact that certain species of turtles breathe through their cloacae, which is also where they defecate from.
3. Gigantamax Blastoise is based on one of Leonardo da Vinci’s designs
Tumblr media
The shell on Gigantamaxed Blastoise’s shell is based on an armored fighting vehicle designed by Leonardo da Vinci. The cone-shaped cover on this design was inspired by a turtle’s shell.
4. The inside of Squirtle’s shell in Pokemon Snap
Tumblr media
Credit to Shesez on Youtube for this one. In the original Pokemon Snap for the Nintendo 64, if one takes control of the camera and zooms in on Squirtle after it withdraws into its shell, it’s four limbs and head can be seen inside of it. Here is a Youtube video if you want to learn more.
5. Blastoise is alone in being a single type Pokemon
Tumblr media
Blastoise is the only fully-evolved Pokemon in the first generation to not gain a typing by its final evolution. Mega Blastoise is also the only mega of a starter to not have a second typing.
6. Wartortle’s ears used to be blue and not white
Tumblr media
As seen in this picture, Wartortle’s ears were first depicted as being the same color as its face. Some early sprites seem to show this as well.
7. Blastoise was almost called Karabajio in Japanese and did not have cannons
Tumblr media
The Japanese name of Blastoise is Kamex, but early artwork shows a similar-looking Pokemon called Karabajio, minus the cannons. It was thought that name was inspired by Italian painter Caravaggio, which in turn references the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles which are all named after Italian artists.

The Words of Prof. Sean: Area Zero And Paradox Pokémon.
I've been seeing lots of miscommunication and misinterpretation on Area Zero and the Paradox pokemon, and I wish to fix this. I'll start of the history of the location and work from there for those unfamiliar with the topic.
Area Zero:
The Great Crater of Paldea is a massive Crater with a unique and expansive ecosystem in the center of the Paldea region. Once to believed to store of massive hidden treasure due to the Ancient Kings greed, many expeditions were sent down into the Crater, later to be called Area Zero by Professors who went to study the phenomenon and ecosystem. Many instances of bizarre looking pokemon many believed to not even be pokemon were found inside, but they all shared a few common trait, they resembled known pokemon, they didn't have any findable evolved or pre-evolved forms, some appeared to be more primal looking versions of pokemon, while others looked like robotic, sci-fi escue versions of pokemon to the modern eye. They all seemed to be in some form hostile, not only the the Expedition teams, but the other pokemon that lived in the crater themselves. Also in the Crater were multiple strange relics, and copious pillars of crystals, even trees and other things seemed to have the crystal grow on them from the ground up, these plants seemed to actually be vastly for hardy then others, being able to shrug off swings of axes and even the strongest of pokemon attacks. These crystals would later be the main key to producing Tera Orbs, and the key to preform the Terastalization phenomenon in battles, which helps something preform to its best. There are other examples of this phenomenon's uses I'll get into at a later point. At the very bottom of the Crater is a cavernous biome where the Tera Crystal seems most copious, and a odd species of pokemon seem to come from, a oddly flower and crystal like pokemon with the rock/poison typing, called Glimmora. I would not be surprised if this pokemons origins is interconnected with the Tera Crystal's origins. These Tera Crystal's also seems to randomly grow from the earth all around Paldea, as Tera Raid Dens, with Terastalized pokemon inside, but will randomly generate and degenerate day by day, but the pokemon inside them don't seem to come from Paldea at all, as environmental Census and blood tests reveals none of the pokemon caught from Tera Raid Dens have zero relation to pokemon of their species all around the region, they've also been found to lack any memory before the Raid Dens generation, no ones got a clue what happens to a pokemon in a Raid Den that Degenerates, as both disappear without a trace. There are still many mystery around the Great Crater, but Professors have only been given minimal study time of the Ecosystem at a time by Paldea's Government.
Primal Paradox Pokemon:
Too start, Paradox Pokemon are odd forms of pokemon that seem to randomly appear in Area Zero, other wise known as The Great Crater of Paldea. We've given classifications for the two types, Primal Paradox and Cyber Paradox.
Primal Paradox pokemon are more primal versions of existing pokemon, do not confuse this for me saying they are prehistoric versions of modern pokemon, as they have zero fossil records anywhere in the word, the closest they have are Bones, simple bones dated at the latest, 1,000 years old. The most common trait among Primal Paradox pokemon are predator Yellow eyes, and a unique ability that activates in harsh sunlight, this ability seems to boost their highest stat, the Cyber Paradox pokemon have a similar ability that activates on Electric Terrain, but we'll get to that later. P. Paradox pokemon are very much carnivorous, but, like all pokemon, they can easily sustain themselves of berry's happily, but they tend to be more aggressive. P. Paradox pokemon seem to not adapt to less aggressive and lethal fighting as easily usual pokemon that are caught do, meaning its best to train them easily and help them tone down their aggressive behavior long before battling becomes an option. We've found that Calm and Friendly P. Paradox pokemon are a rarer sight, but are findable, We've also discovered that these Paradox pokemon are immediately targeted by other members of their species, they likely precieve such behavior as weakness and attempt to beat it out of them, or just kill them if they don't learn. P. Paradox seem to naturally live by Might Makes Right Version of Survival of the Fittest, which is why they seems to have a harder time learning to pull in their aggressive behavior when caught. This is a Rare sight in most modern day species. Some seem to exhibit traits professors such as Kalos' Sycamore believe would be associated with Mega evolved forms, a prime example is Roaring Moon, which appear to be Primal Paradox Salamence, and show traits of Mega Salamence. I'll likely go over Mega evolution and its working in the future, but for now I'll explain how these traits seem to present themselves in Paradox pokemon.
Mega Evolution brings out the latent potential and and activate Deactivated and inactive genes in a pokemon, allowing them to reach a higher evolved form of themselves, and when I say evolved, I mean darwinian in nature, Sceptile has been on its way to evolving into Dragon type for the last couple of generations, and is believed to become Dragon type in the future, meaning Mega Sceptile is what regular Sceptile will become far into the future. The life style of P. Paradox pokemon has allowed these pokemon reach that level of evolution. I would like to note that due to living with Paradox pokemon in general has lead to many species in Area Zero to become hostile and aggressive to anything unfamiliar, such as humans.
Now for their Origins, the Tera Crystal seems to have multiple traits and abilitys, such as amplification of ability, but its appears to have something akin to dimensional jumping, not time travel like many people believe. All the paradox pokemon are traveling from the Present of separate time lines.
Its also of note that due to their life style, Paradox pokemon in General have strength on the level of lower tier legendary pokemon.
Cyber Paradox Pokemon:
To start this part off, NO, Cyber Paradox pokemon ARE NOT ROBOTS, they have merely evolved into a state of being mechanical and technical like. I'm make this shorter than the Primal Paradox section due to covering those points already. Cyber Paradox pokemon come from a Timeline where pokemon evolved into more Mechanical like forms, but they still need to breath, eat, drink, and sleep. Many seem to develope advances abilitys comparable to human tools and equipment, Iron Bundle, the Cyber Paradox of Delibird, has a Sphere on its tail that functions as both a weapon, and dimensional storage bag much like Trainer Tech bags company's like Silph Co. Makes for the public. They seem to evolved for maximized efficiency, even developing to smaller sizes compared to our timelines counter parts of them. The least changed of them seems to be Iron Jugilous, who seems to look like to have just taken on a form machine like form of Hydreigon, while the others have become more specially adapted versions of their counterparts. They also react aggressively to foreign life, but will calm down much quicker when they realize that said life is not a danger. And in cases will assist them and protect them from Primal Paradox pokemon. This seems to be the reason why P. Paradox pokemon have not driven the normal population of Area Zero to extinction. Iron Valiant seems to be both Gardevoir, and Mega Galade for some odd reason, likely the original evolution of having two separate specialized forms wasn't efficient enough, and adapted the two forms together, seemingly, Galade's Potential was the most efficient, so there are only minor traits of mega Gardevoir. Genetic tests have shown it can actually shift between genders at will. They also mostly lack the ability to show emotion, they do have emotions, but they lack most facial features to show them, they also come off as standoff ish due to their robotic appearance, which is why many actually believed them to be robots, rather then pokemon.
A fun fact for those Shiny lovers out there, Shiny Cyber Paradox pokemon are pure Chrome in color, like an unpainted prototype.
The only two Paradox pokemon that have regular named Registered in the pokedex are the two Paradox forms of Cyclizar, Koraidon and Miraidon. Though Miraidon does have a standard Paradox name in Iron Serpent.
Tera Phenomenon
The Terastalization Phenomenon affect both biological life and machines, amplifying their abilitys and capabilites. This allowed a pair of higher functioning AI to break free of their programming and have their own desires, these were the robotic copies of Prof. Sada and Turo, who sadly passed away from injures gained from taking the attacks of Agressive Koraidon and Miraidon when they tried to attack a pair of Calm and Friendly Koraidon and Miraidon. These two AI actually wanted to end their templates work, and shut down a machine the two professors believed was a time machine they made, however they were designed to be a self defense protocol for the machine, which was also powered and enhanced with Tera Crystals, they ultimately sent themselves through the machine to the two separate timelines, from what we've learned from the child of Prof. Sada and Turo, Arven is to be believed, it also appears that the AI felt guilt for their templates actions of abandoning their child for a dangerous obsession. It would appear that Koraidon and Miraidon are on the upper scale of lesser legendary pokemon, similarly to the likes of Zekrom and Reshiram.
So ends my lecture, I hope to see you all again soon. And remember, entering Area Zero is a Punishable offense unless given legal permission.
Note for those who may be curious on connected between the Great Crater and the ultimate weapon of Kalos, there is likely a chance the Tera Crystal is the direct shot from the weapon, while mega stones and and like were stray 'shrapnel' while the blast fell from the sky, this theory may be supported by the Reflection cave and its strange mirrors that people have found seem show different places and pokemon in the reflection, and on occasion even open like portals and send something through, which has recently lead to the cave being closed off from the public when what we now believe to be a Thunderous Thearian form came through, but unlike usual Thunderous, this one was more aggressive even by its usual standards, and had markings similar to Primal Paradox pokemon as well as much bright yellow eyes then the normal, plus the inability to turn into the regular form of Thunderous. We now have a theory that the kami trio, or more accurately the Cardinal Quartet, their alternate forms are actually some variation of Paradox forms the pokemon seem to be able to take on, as the mirrors that have been found that are said to allow the four to enter these forms are the same material as the Reflecting caves crystals.
