hey everyone!!! i'm sarah and im new to this (obviously) but i love reading & writing and my friend said that making a #writeblr would be fun so. here we are. i'm currently majoring in english at uni and i'm really excited about that! i've written one book before and it explored mental health. it's since been deleted but i loved writing it and hope to write more. okay let me get into it

i love romance, contemp, and fantasy; those are definitely my favorite genres to read & watch. i don't love categorizing things into tropes but my all-time favorites are fake dating, enemies-to-lovers, and a DELICIOUS WONDERFUL BRILLIANT AMAZING drunk confession/kiss

as a writer i am really passionate about diverse (AND RESPECTFUL!!!!!) representation, showing queer stories that don't involve homophobia plotlines, and pushing your own boundaries to learn something new :)

my current wip

working title has been when the stars align

takes place at a very rich, glitz and glam boarding school in NYC

follows zayra efron (she's jewish, yay #ownvoices!) as she navigates past a breakup and loses sleep (and her mind) over blind dates. all fun and games until she has to do a group project with her biggest competition, kareena modhi. hmmmm what could possibly happen..........

like i said it's incredibly important to me to show characters that are already out and accepted! obviously that's an ideal world but i'm really really really excited to work on this
