hey everyone, I’ve put this off for a while now because honestly I don’t want to do this, but it’s time. 

With everyone so busy now, returning to work, etc. (my own work hours have changed yet again, and I’m busier than ever), things have slowed to the point where it doesn’t feel productive to keep this roleplay open. I don’t have the time, most of our members don’t have the time, and it feels unfair to accept new people who won’t be able to roleplay much due to our low activity.

I really wanted to keep this going; I had plans for Sykes’ slow takeover of the town, and I love my characters and the way y’all have taken your own characters and developed them. I’ve greatly enjoyed roleplaying with you guys and forming relationships both on the dash and in real life. I’m still really invested! Real life just got too much for me, as I’m sure it did the same for some of y’all as well.

Thank you for sticking with me this past year and change. I think if a roleplay can last a year at least it can be considered successful, and you guys did that for Polaris, and I’m very grateful. Knowing me, I’ll probably have another roleplay idea down the line (or I may revive this one, who knows?), and I’ll definitely let those of you who’ve been here know if/when that happens to give y’all the opportunity to come together as a group again.

In the meantime, though, I wish y’all the best of luck in all of your endeavors, and thank you for spending the past year with me. I’ve really enjoyed getting to know some of you for the first time, and others better than before.

I love this group, I truly do, and I’m so so sorry I wasn’t able to maintain the energy and drive to keep this roleplay afloat.

Jessie Jane Pride is a friendly and excitable person. She doesn’t know much of her mother other than that her name was Emily and that she abandoned Jessie was she was a toddler. Jessie was taken in by a farmer out in a rural area and when she was older she found out the town has dubbed him as ‘Stinky Pete’. Which she could understand, he was a farmer and he had a horrible attitude but he always treated Jessie with kindness until she wanted to go out in the world and life her own life. Pete believed that Jessie owed him her lifes work since he took her in. In the dead of night one summer, she took off and made her way to Andromeda to start her new life.

She studied Criminology and Psychology at Polaris University and when she graduated she worked her butt off and became a detective. She loves her job and as much as it shows the horrible side of life, she believes in the good of others. It’s something that she struggles with as she is still dealing with the internal trauma of being abandoned as a child which has lead her to being cautious around people and opening up to others. She is working on this but she’s stubborn and it can take longer than intended and having a feisty nature doesn’t always help her case but she means well. As much as she is a friendly and an excitable person, she struggles with her own self-confidence and gets embarrassed easily. It’s no secret that she’s an intelligent woman, she knows her job like the back of her hand and still reads over old textbooks and notes to retain any information that may have slipped previously.                          

                                             ~ Connections ~

Woody Davis ~ Jessie and Woody met years ago and she feels like he’s the closest person to a brother and family in general that she has. The often clash with their way of doing things can be of different approaches but these are harmless and by lunchtime they’re all good. Jessie would protect Woody with her heart and soul.

hey everyone! now that I’ve finally gotten the new graphics done, I’m going to be taking a small admin break for the sake of my mental health, among other things. I’ll still be around as a player, as I want to get back into actually rp’ing, but I won’t log back into the main until Friday, July 17th.
