my thoughts on endgame shipping in ToG that no one asked for:

i have a feeling the webtoon will go the open ended route. You know what? I’d be totally fine, even happy, with that. It wouldn’t feel out of place in the story; after all, the story is not about romance in the slightest.

However, I would be confused if Bam ended up with someone and that person wasn’t Khun. Don’t get me wrong, I love all the possible female romantic interests (Yuri can punch me in the face any day and I’d apologize and ask if she hurt her hand) and think they have interesting dynamics with Bam but... I would be so, so confused.

You can’t deny that Bam’s bond with Khun is unlike any of the other members of the cast. They’ve been through hell together and Khun’s level of unconditional trust in Bam is literally unmatched. He spent years living with the person who took his best friend from him for Bam’s sake. Khun being nearly killed by Rachel was the thing that made Bam finally snap at her and actually threaten her life if she came near Khun again. Khun has on multiple occasions put aside his personal beliefs to support Bam. Bam’s reaction to Khun coming back in S3 is unparalleled to any other character return in the webtoon. The only person I could POTENTIALLY say he has a deeper connection to is Jinsung, and Jinsung is the only parental figure the poor kid has ever had.

I haven’t even listed a tenth of the examples regarding how much these two mean to each other. So basically: ToG ending without a canon romance? Yeah, makes enough sense to me. ToG ending with a romance that isn’t Khun/Bam? ????????????
