Venus (V@ggie) development

•I decided to name her Venus because I feel like it fits her very well, an Angel who was violated and casted away because of it, kinda like Medusa

•Venus is the planet of love, so I wanted to make her very beautiful but in a way where she tries to cover up her beauty because of how it has affected her

•And yes, she is basically a Mitski reference, but I think that mitski really fits her personality and it shows some uniqueness

•She’s going to actually have some depth because in the original I feel like she’s just a bland, boring, latin and lesbian stereotype. I feel like Viv only made her an angel just to actually give her another purpose in the show

•I want to base her off of the bleeding heart dove, because doves actually represent Venus and I find them very beautiful and unique at the same time

Other notes:

• apparently she’s not a goat but is “cause the devil”? Which is so strange like huh??

• also she doesn’t look like a doll or marionette, I feel like she would conceal her true face with a porcelain mask, like Lucius has his mask (her father)

• I wanted to cut out the yellows and reds because they are just too much, I feel like a coral pink fits her more childish personality.

• I gave her less sharp edges because it doesn’t fit her personality either, I feel like rounded edges and shapes allows her to be more expressive and fluid

• Viv said she gave her hooves to make a ‘satyr vibe’ but that is horribly executed so I gave her ACTUAL satyr legs

• I wanted to simplify her design a lot because I feel like her type of character would be very simple, and there are no more itty bitty details

• She’s supposed to not have ‘human-like’ ears but we don’t even see her ears, so like- what?? I decided to give her actual goat ears that are actually visible
