And here is another one! I recently watched a documentary on mental diseased people, who get “cured” by playing music. In that documentary, there is a top notch scene where you can see an hardcore band, composed uniqely by down syndrome’s people. This will eventually turn into a bigger (and cleaner) piece

Et le deuxième! J’ai été particulièrement marqué par un documentaire sur “brut pop”, une association qui suit des patients en situation de handicap mental avancé, en leur faisant découvrir la musique et en les aidant a se produire dans des salles de concert “classiques”. On y trouve une scène assez folle, avec un groupe de hardcore composé quasiment uniqument de trisomiques... Je pense que je vais continuer cette sculpture, en faire un truc un peu plus gros avec un deuxième personnage...

Hi! Here is a little sculpture I did! I recently developed a cooking obsession, especially with fish. So... I sculpted a guy, cooking fish.

Yo! Une petite sculpture, en ce moment je cuisine beaucoup, et surtout du poisson. Du coup j’ai sculpté un type, qui cuisine du poisson, voila.

Hi everybody! Here is some sketch I did during my april’s trip in TOKYO! One of the coolest trip in my life. Also, I had the best food of all times. Still haunted by a ramen bowl I had in Nakano Broadway, the discrit i was sleeping in! I even tried to go mangaka using some screentones i bought there! Needless to say, it was a majestic failure. 

Salut les copains! C’est des petits dessins que j’ai fait a tokyo. C’était un voyage très très très cool, et j’ai bien mangé ce qui est le plus important quand on fait un voyage. Voila :) Ah et j’ai même voulu faire semblant d’être un mangaka en achetant des trames. Bisous!

Hi everybody! Here’s my 2015-2016 demoreel, featuring some sets building, puppet making and animation stuff! There’s also some sequences from my graduation film :) Enjoy!

Hey Hey more shots! Those are the last ones I did... It still need some postproduction to remove the pins, some imperfections on the skin of the character.... And it needs some colour correction!

Here is another shot! I don’t know why, but i prefer animating Nicolas than Claire...

I also animated this shot! Claire is a psychiatrist, she’s asking questions to nicolas the whole movie. She’s voiced by Lou Lefevre, a french actress I met during this summer! The voice here is not definitive.

For the technical specs, the lipsynch is made by putting pins through the lower and upper jaw, this way the lower jaw can move up and down, doing rough shapes!

Tout cela avance bien. J’ai pu tirer les mains en silicone, je suis plutot content du résultat même si c’est peut etre un peu trop “brouillon” pour des gros plans... J’ai aussi essayé d’implanter mes cheveux sur les puppets, pour faire des test! Et oui, je les ai fait copuler tel un enfant de 7 ans dérangé avec ses action man. Bientot, des chaussures et de la peinture!

Hi! Just finished casting the  silicone hands of both characters! I feel like these puppets will soon be finished, and it’s a marvelous feelings, folks.

Ayé, j’ai fini le build up de la seconde puppet de mon film de fin d’étude! Je suis un peu moins satisfait que pour Nicolas (le gros): Quelques problèmes deproportions, et un peu moins de soin (oui oui, de soin) apporté a la puppet en général... Bon ça m’empeche pas de dormir hein.

Just finished the build up on all the puppets! I’m a little bit (a lot) less satisfied with the second character, a little bit more rough made, I guess... Also some proportions issues. So I hope she’ll get a nice xtralarge pull over when i’ll move to the clothe making!
