Polyamships is hosting #MultiamoryMarch2025

Multiamory March is a month-long event held each year, starting on March 1st and ending on March 31st, with a prompt for each day.

🎉🎉2025 marks the 5th year since #MultiamoryMarch came to our blog 🎉🎉

Once again we gather to celebrate polyamory in all its forms: OT3s, OT4s, OT8s, V-relationships, QPRs, sedoretus, and any configuration you can think of. In the spirit of this month, we invite you to create works in any medium using the prompts above if you need a little inspiration.

This year we have an additional 10 alt visual prompts for you to choose! Check out the links under the cut.

Remember our prompts are there to inspire you, not restrict you. You can also create freely or even use one of our prompts from past years we’d still love to see fanworks for if they inspire you better. If you use a prompt, please make sure to let us know which prompt you’re creating for somewhere on your post.

At us @polyamships and use the tags #MultiamoryMarch and #MultiamoryMarch2025 in the first five tags so we can hopefully see it. If you don’t see us reblog your post within a few days feel free to send us an ask to let us know, or submit it via the submit link here in case we’ve missed your post or the tags/notifications are being weird.

All ratings are welcome but anything nsfw/triggery should be warned for and behind a read more, as should very long tumblr fic.

Q: Is this a fic only challenge? A: No, you can post art or podfics as well.

Q: Does the work have to be NSFW to qualify? A: No, the only big requirement is to have your blorbo be passed around amongst other blorbos, it doesn't necessarily have to be an orgy I suppose.

Q: Is there a minimum? A: The minimum is a finished piece. If you pass your blorbo around in 100 words or less, I'm impressed.

Q: Is there a maximum? A: The sky is the limit.

We understand that life gets in the way sometimes. If you realize you will not be able to finish your assignment, please default as soon as possible. This year, 48 hours is the maximum extension that will be granted. You're free to still finish your assignment if you need more than 48 hours; however, if you ask for a longer extension or you don't post your fanwork by the extension deadline, then the request will be sent out as a pinch hit. It is here! The inaugural event for FOUR OR MORE is live. A ficathon designed to get more fic featuring relationships with four or more people out into the world! Inspired by the Rarest of Rairpairs ficathon, this first event will run from August 15th to October 20th.

GUIDELINES

- Any medium! Any rating! As long as your work focuses on a relationship with 4 or more people, it's allowed! - No minimum or maximum but fills must be complete. - You don’t have to fill something to leave a prompt. The more prompts, the merrier! - Prompts must be for relationships featuring 4 or more people. - You may link to the fill if it is posted elsewhere. Warnings are not mandatory, but you're free to include them if you wish to do so. - You may combine these with other events, as long as the other event allows it. - Small fandoms welcome! - Don't forget to comply with the community guidelines.

Q: What kind of works am I allowed to submit? A: All type of fanworks are welcome! Fics, art, podfic, meta, you name it. As long as the main relationship features 4 or more people, it's allowed.

Q: I don't have a Dreamwidth account. Can I join? A: Of course! You don't even need an AO3 account if you wish to post only on tumblr.

Q: My work contains [INSERT WARNING HERE]. Can I still participate? A: Yes. This is a CNTW (Choose Not To Warn) space. Feel free to tag us in your posts #fourormore or @/fourormore and we will reblog your post.

Q: I don't want to see [X] content, can you please remove it? A: No. The only content that will be removed will be that that does not comply with the rules. You can ask us to tag a certain topic for blacklisting purposes and you are more than encouraged to do so, but remember that you can always unfollow if some content upsets you.

I think the people who ship first year poly but don't include Ortho, are cowards.

It's either all of them or none of them! Ortho is just as much as a first year as the rest of them, he also deserves love and not be a 6th/7th wheel in the friend group!

Now, to be fair I don't actually ship all of them together. Rather its Ace/Deuce/Epel/Ortho for me personally while Jack/Sebek are just dating eachother, but my opinion still stands!

Fun Meet-Cute Prompts!

Except some of these are more chaotic than cute.

Person A is at the park sitting by the fountain while reading a book. Nearby in the big field, Person B is playing some sort of sports game with friends (maybe football or baseball or something idk, something that demands you run while barley paying attention to where you’re going) and in the process of running and trying to catch the ball, not paying attention to where they’re running, they accidentally crash into Person A and knock both into the water fountain. Assuming the book fell with them, A is probably upset over their book getting damaged. B is profusely trying to apologize and ask what they can do to make it up.

Person A and Person B are classmates and also two big mythology nerds (or maybe some other type of nerdism I’m just using mythology as a placeholder). Their next lesson in class is centered around mythology and when Person A says that a certain myth went down this certain way, Person B chimes in and argues that’s a little inaccurate. Cue an argument in front of the whole class that lasts longer than it should (and if the teacher is a little shit, next time it’s time to change assigned seating they seat both A & B next to each other as an ✨experiment✨)

Polyship where Person A is having trouble with the TSA at the airport. Read: starting a fight with the TSA agent of some sort. Person B is another person at the airport tryna get on a flight but notices Person A being given lots of trouble and goes to defend them while also playing up their natural born charisma to get A out of it, which A is in awe by. Meanwhile Person C is another worker at the airport who ALSO notices the TSA agent giving Person A a harder time and, being better with getting through to customers, tries to go to defend-escalate. And suddenly wow, Person A’s fighting spirit is kinda attractive and my lord, Person B sure does have a way with words.

Person A and B meet at a spice eating competition. A has the spice tolerance of a god meanwhile B is likely to shit their pants at the mildest of spices. Immediately B is smitten with A, and tries playing up how much they can handle as a form of impressing them. Unfortunately Person B becomes a fucking MESS almost immediately starting and honestly Person A finds that loserism more amusing and endearing than any impressive feat B could have accomplished.

Polyship Person A, B, C, & D meet on a cooking competition together. Their first impressions of each other is how well they work in the kitchen together under crunched time. Four people. In a kitchen together. Under crunched time. Imagine how fun that would be.

Person A accidentally hits Person B with their car. And maybe they woulda been more pissed about it but lowkey Person A is kinda cute wow it’s kinda great that this person will be sitting next to B in the ER room the whole time.

However many characters in your ship there are (tho I say the more the merrier) fighting over the last box of Little Bites in the store. Imagine at the end of it they all decide to just split the purchase of it and eat them all outside in the parking lot and get to know each other.

There’s a three-person ride and Persons A, B, and C all came to the amusement part in a squad of four so they all have to be separated from their respective friend groups and be put together for the ride. Which they obviously don’t mind. But mayhaps spice it up and the ride breaks down midway through. Spice it up some more and Person A has a massive fear of heights. Maybe Person G starts listing the different amusement parks related deaths they’ve heard about. Which obviously doesn’t help Person A. And then Person C is the one actually attempting to consolidate Person A.

Person A is a parent with a very small child. One day when out in public, said child zooms off into the crowd, freaking A the FUCK out. Person B notices A in distress and offers to help A look for their child. (You can easily make this polyamorous by making A also have a spouse that A probably also calls to come over and help 🙂‍↕️🙂‍↕️)

Hello and welcome to the inaugural Bob's Poly Week in 2024! The event week will celebrate polyamory and multishipping in the Bob's Burgers fandom. We need your help to decide on the best prompts!

Holly Poly Helpers Wanted

Holly Poly is, as the name implies, an exchange for polyamorous relationships. OT3s, OT4s, OT6s, orgies, open relationships, sedoretus, whatever strikes your fancy, as long as it involves three or more entities.

As the event keeps growing every year, we've come to the realization that it's necessary to get more help to deliver the best experience to this year's participants.

Currently, we're looking for 4+ people who can help us with mod duties during this exchange. Below, you can find the different areas where we need help. You can choose to help only with one task, which is why we're including the timeframe for each task as well.

Helpers must be 18+ and be comfortable reviewing all types of content.

We're looking for help with the following tasks:

Help with tagset and nominations (October 2024): This would be checking tagset sanity for both the 2023 tagset and the final 2024 tagset, checking nominations validity and formatting, helping with any editing from the 2023 tagset to the 2024 tagset (i.e. new disambiguations)

Help with social media announcements and pinch hit formatting for those (Mid October 2024-January 2025): We currently use twitter, tumblr, discord, dreamwidth and google groups. If you are proficient in one specific social media site, please let us know.

Help reading/looking over works (Late December 2024-January 2025): This would be checking for Do Not Wants/request fulfilment and completion of stories

Happy New Year! I'm already looking forward to creating about the complicated relationship dynamics that come up when you have four or more people in a polycule. What are you looking forward to this year?

Let me introduce to you: the 2025 Four or More Valentine's Flash Fiction Madness collection!

What's this? It's a writing-focused challenge, however all mediums are welcome in the collection. The idea is to purposefully create in smaller chunks for your favorite relationships with #fourormore people with the intent of promoting your favorite ships and populating those tags of polyamorous goodness.

This event will run from February 7th to February 21st.

This is a low-stakes, personal challenge. There's no penalty for going over the limit. In fact, if you manage multiple works that go over the limit, you have my admiration.

GUIDELINES

Any medium! Any rating! As long as your work focuses on a relationship with 4 or more people, it's allowed!

All works must be your own and not previously posted. AI generated works will be deleted from the collections.

You may combine these with other events, as long as the other event allows it (such as @polyamships PolyamShippingDay or @febuwhump)

Small fandoms and complicated relationships more than welcome!

Don't forget to comply with the community guidelines.

MEDIUM SPECIFIC GUIDELINES

Minimum wordcount for fics is 100 words. Maximum is 2000 words.

Minimum for art is a sketch (digitally or traditionally drawn. Figure sticks allowed!). There is no limit to the quality or effort you want to put in your fills.

Minimum for moodboards is a 2x3 grid (6 images individually or edited in one image). Maximum is a 3x 3 grid (9 images individually or edited in one image).

Minimum for podfic is a 100-word fic. Maximum is 2000 words. There is no restriction on length or special effects.

Minimum for fanvids is 30 seconds. Maximum is 1minute and 30seconds.

Other mediums don't have a minimum nor maximum. Do you want to make an in-universe magazine for your ship? A cross stich pattern? A sculpture? Go ahead and do it! I look forward to all the things you can create.

Q: How much do I need to create? A: As much or as little as you want! Even one more work in your ship tag is better than none!
