[ So yyyyeah...

Rogue got activity checked. Whoops. The thing is...my muse has been low on her for a long while, and I’m not exactly sure where to go next with her character development in Isola, so I’ve been thinking of taking a break on her for a little while. I’d need to discuss some more with my friends before I consider dropping her permanently; even if I do, the chances of that happening look pretty small at this point, so. She’ll be back. This is not the end.

For now, though - I’ll be on Mina (@isilugay) and Hornet (@needlenailed). Peace.

She’s having trouble coming up with a more coherent response than that on...what, six total hours of sleep out of the past 48? If that? Blame her wasteland instincts that won’t let her ever really believe she’s safe, blame having to keep Captain away from the black balloons (that word went around to the whole SPD pretty early), blame her late nights soul-searching about ethics in a situation with too few resources for everybody, but...yeah, she’s kind of a mess.

Although Hunter isn’t much better. If she can convince him she’s got watch tonight, regardless of exhaustion, maybe it’ll help his own wasteland experience keep quiet.

“I told you not to try and back me up, but here we are.” She stifles an enormous yawn. “C’mon back to my place. I’ll take watch if it makes you feel better. I know how you feel, with this kind of - everyone for themself, this kind of chaos...”

“You. Rest. Now.”

“You took five steps and need to sit down again?”

“I’m absolutely fine, I just need to sit down.”

“I just need to sit-what do you mean I’m already laying down?”

“Your eyes aren’t focusing. Just close them for ten minutes.”

“Write one sentence on this piece of paper, and then I’ll let you up.”

“I just need a breather, that’s all. Maybe ten. No fifteen.”

“We’re both so exhausted we can’t even argue about not being exhausted.”

“When I said I needed five more minutes I meant it more like hours.”

“… no… I’m tired… let me sleep… I don’t want to get up.”

“We need to get out of the heat, you’re starting to look sick.”

“You can’t hide those shaking hands from me. You need to stop.”

“I’m just a little cold, I’m okay, really. Let me sit with a blanket or something.”

“Moving…? No I’m good thanks.”

“Gravity has a hold on me of which I have not the strength to break.”

“I’ve had no energy for three days.”
