I went out of my comfort zone a bit and made this little ceramic dinosaur! It’s a sinosauropteryx, one of the few dinosaurs we actually know the color of! I just love their fluffy, red striped tails.

Paleoart, May 3, 2019. The title was 'You were an Isle unto Thyself', for obvious reasons, playing off a song from an album which, back then, was not nearly as big among the kids as it is now. Scary. I drown in a sea of children.

'Around 212 million years ago. The Norian stage of the Triassic. Near what is now Sikanni Chief, British Columbia, Canada.

A huge Shastasaurus sikanniensis cruises across the ocean's surface, expelling salt and water from its nostrils, taking a respite from the deep while watching for potential invertebrate prey. It is joined by a pair of Macgowania janiceps, riding in the currents of the giant, chasing after the puny Mesohimavatites columbianus ammonites in its wake.'

salty-paws are the clans' equivalent of a leatherworker- they skin prey before its consumed and tan the hides. they have lots of tools, but i only featured the glove here! they use the glove for the Big incisions.

A cat that becomes a medicine cat out of fear of Starclan. While their clanmates look at their ancestors with awe and admiration, this cat looks at the destruction they can cause and only feels terror in the face of Starclan. They hope that they can escape Starclan’s scorn and protect themself and their loved ones by becoming their most devout follower.
