Chapter 3 - Hwang In-ho
How different is he, really?
---
Chapter 3 is up! A small reminder of the synopsis:
“Look at me, In-ho-ya,” he laughed, bitter and hollow. “I barely recognize myself anymore, and it’s all your fault.”
—
After discovering Young-il's face under the Front Man's mask, Seong Gi-hun is thrust nine years into past, where he's trapped in yet another cycle of the games. But it doesn't take long for him to discover who is playing alongside him— Hwang In-ho, the future Front Man.
So he takes upon himself one more mission, his only desire that still anchors him to the living world: kill the Front Man before he's even allowed to come into existence.
Kill Hwang In-ho.

look at freakatron go, he’s down so bad, probably wants to tear that whole shirt off

I have to say, he’s starting to outfreak the Recruiter with every new tiny detail people unearth about him

AU where the mercenaries fail but Junho manages to makes it back onto the island and disguises himself as a guard again, which seems to work better than last time because the compound is in slight chaos. With the mercenaries attack happening right after Gihun's rebellion, they're rushing to fix everything up before the vile VIPs arrive.
In the confusion, Junho manages to nab a station close by the Front Man - his brother. And it's a mix of shock and relief to see Seong Gihun there, too, because Inho keeps him prisoner and keeps him close at hand to avoid anymore rebellions or escape attempts or game interference. He also takes the opportunity to corrupt Gihun's seemingly steadfast belief in humanity and good people.
At least, that's Inho's excuse. But even after all their time apart, Junho can still recognize when his brother is trying to flirt.
And becoming the Front Man of secret death games with dozens of soldiers at his command apparently doesn't improve one's flirting skills, because Inho's still bad at it.

so i wore a pride flag pin to work the other day and the kids were all interested (obviously) (find me a classroom of preschoolers who are not obsessed with rainbows) (i'll wait) so they crowded around to see.
"aww!" they said, "it's a flag!!"
but the thing is: they're little. a lot of them don't really have a handle on all their mouth sounds yet.
such as, notably, that tricky tricky "L" sound.
