I can't remember if I have introduced Fabian and Wilmot on this blog before tbh... Wilmot is Rosalina's twin and Fabian is Peony's younger brother.

'ello, I drew a comic page. There's no script or anything, so not much context I could give, except that Penny and Ashley are not quite seriously dating here. We'll see what happens while I draw.

I bought big paper rolls and charcoal yesterday for bigger drawings! When I think about things I do that with my whole body, so being able to stand up and swing my arms around might help me with concept ideas. I'm tired of sitting at my desk lmao

I initially wanted to buy an easel or something where I could draw on, but decided to save the money and just use my door.

Doodles of Grey! I'm still thinking about the dusty comic! But I'm stuck on the plot, and also slow in general (aka easily distracted by other things). I want to have the script finished by the end of the year. I've been currently drawing on scrape paper and sketching feels so much easier. As a kid my parents gave me only scrape paper from their business because they felt buying new paper would be a waste (which was fair because I was drawing so much) 20 years forward I have returned to the scrapes haha (snatched a stack from the office) It doesn't feel like I waste paper when the sketch isn't working out.

I've gotten incredibly side-tracked by two other OC's of mine, who only play a side role in the dusty story (there 's that name again...) Their names are Ashley and Penny, they both used to be police officers but I changed that to other professions (I wanna draw and write more before dropping new lore) Also Ashley used to be 1,92m, but I had the sudden urge to make her *short* and I like that much better. I used to hyperfixate on them years ago and now everything is fresh and new and I'm hyperfixating again lmao

I still feel a pressure lingering to produce something "presentable". Like, to post/create in a way for people to follow along and to not confuse anyone lmao But I try to resist that pressure and go with the flow, play around with different ideas and have fun. That was the point of this blog anyway.

Ok ok I *had* to get the watercolors out now, my head just wouldn't shut up about it.

I also looked up clothing reference for characters, and all the patchy pants, shirts and whatnot increased the painting itch even more.

Trying to get a grip on Lou. I'm still happy with her base design, but it's been 5 years, so ofc I wanna do some things different. She still has tattoos all over, but I didn't wanna draw them.

Returning to paper was a great idea btw. Since yesterday I filled 11 pages (A5, but still). Look how productive I can be when I don't have ctrl + z to nibble on a single sketch for 2h :)

Eventually I'd like to reintroduce watercolors back into my work, but small steppies.

I found a whole script from 2018 that I completely forgot about. It's for the characters I posted earlier, Grey and Lou. Needs a lot of tweaks, but it's a whole storyline from start to finish, like woah wdym I did that?

Grey as a kid used to be my favourite subject for a couple years. These drawings are all from around 2018-ish.
