'ello, I drew a comic page. There's no script or anything, so not much context I could give, except that Penny and Ashley are not quite seriously dating here. We'll see what happens while I draw.

I've been cursed by art block and general art frustration for a couple weeks now, but I'm trying to punch myself out of it.

This was not meant to be this elaborate, but I just kept going lmao It was just an exercise to draw Fabian again and spilled into a comic. The whole thing is probably a little hard to read.

I can't remember if I have introduced Fabian and Wilmot on this blog before tbh... Wilmot is Rosalina's twin and Fabian is Peony's younger brother.

I can't hold a thought for more than a minute, so putting any sort of story or world building together feels impossible. It's really frustrating tbh.

Ok ok I *had* to get the watercolors out now, my head just wouldn't shut up about it.

I also looked up clothing reference for characters, and all the patchy pants, shirts and whatnot increased the painting itch even more.

This is Jan, another character from the story I'm currently undusting. They're 15 and an aspiring entomologist :3

I feel like I always get too ambitious, it doesn't turn out like I have in mind and then quit.

First image are loose sketches of Roots, as in the village of Roots, Rosalinas home village!

Second image shows (younger) Tony, the chicken lady. She already made an appearance in the first part of the comic. Tony and her daughter Frieda are very close with Rosalina and her dad Ray.

Rosalina often helped out at the chicken coop to blow off some of her overflowing energy (and also caused a lot of havoc in the process).

I bought big paper rolls and charcoal yesterday for bigger drawings! When I think about things I do that with my whole body, so being able to stand up and swing my arms around might help me with concept ideas. I'm tired of sitting at my desk lmao

I initially wanted to buy an easel or something where I could draw on, but decided to save the money and just use my door.
