what was your main inspiration for your two main ocs??

avery: a projection for all my own failures and shortcomings. plus I gave him some trauma that I don't have. no particular inspiration from media tbh, I just tried to make him as fail as possible.

ansel: kaworu, and every musician/actor who seems fine and happy but kills themselves at a young age. I also put a tiny bit of myself into him, but not as much as I did for avery.

no one's birthday today, but it will be soon! avery's bday is Feb 17 and mine is Feb 18 :) I did this kind of on accident.. the lore is that the first time I drew him was on the day before my bday, so I just made it canon that that's his bday.

I also want to make bday themed stickers! I'm gonna be tabling at Mini Art Mart in SF Japantown on my bday so I thought it might be nice to hand out stickers on that day. we'll see if I get them done in time though lol. if I dont finish them pretend I never posted this

ok so this was a lie but i'll have it done this year for sure

im making an oc art book

my goal is to make an art book compiling all of my polished diner oc art and make it at least 50 pages long. it'll probably be done by the end of 2023. this book will include all my finished pieces, including ones that i've already printed as stickers and prints. i'll post everything online so there will be no book-exclusive art. there may, however, be book-exclusive text and commentary. i hope you look forward to it ^_^

now that my plushie making ventures are over, i can fully focus on making this book! i really want to finish it!!!! originally i planned to finish it in July, but i pushed back my date because i didn't want to rush it and end up with a poor quality book. and im also announcing this in case people want all of my art but dont want to buy that many prints, they can save for this book instead. and also bc announcing it will force me to finish it.

im also thinking of making a companion r18 zine that will be just non-canon oc yaoi. this zine will contain stuff im too shy to post online lol. so there will be exclusive content in this one.
