In all honesty, the utter shock on thoma’s face was indeed quite funny, however he wouldn’t agree with that especially after the comment you made about the innocent couple walking by, they were a young happy looking couple minding their own business, shyly one of the pair spoonfed the other, causing the blonde next to you to get all giddy and genuinely happy for them, imagining that this could be the two of you when he finally gets the confidence to ask you out.

tho it all came tumbling down once he heard the words leaving your mouth.

He didn’t expect you to say that, In fact he was so distracted by them to notice the look of disgust form on your face. Just how much more lovey dovey can they get? It was starting to annoy you.

Oh but once he sees the way your face flushes as you look away in embarrassment, he knows he can’t stop now, it’s like a reward to him!, but to you, ohoho- He just keeps treating you so good it’s driving you insane!

Though that doesn’t mean you’re the only one receiving here, he wouldn’t forget the day he bought dango for everyone— including you of course!

He however managed to forget one person, himself.

honsetly, sometimes scaramouche doesn’t know why he puts up with you.

Is what he claims, he truly doesn’t know why. however, a part of him really “tolerates” your behavior and existence, or in other words : he is used to having you around.

he would constantly complain about the ridiculous jokes you make and roll his eyes when you playfully wink at him, and when you ask “wait! Your face is so red!” He can feel his face heating up even more as he goes on to say “Can’t you see it’s really hot today? It’s from the weather!” Very defensively, that seems like a good logical reason to him! or it’s what he wants to believe, if there’s any emotion making him feel like this, it’s anger and frustration obviously!

And don’t get him started with how your eyes lit up at the fact he saved a spot next to him in a room full of people for you to sit, he claims that “you’d make a fool out of yourself without me.” But deep down he knew that he feels calmer when you are around, making sure you are safe with him.

Speaking of which, god forbid he ever finds out you’ve managed to injure yourself while out for a commission/mission, buckle up because he’s about to absolutely degrade and insult you for the next two hours as he tends your wounds, and as much as he sounds aggressive yet the way he cleans up the injury is so gentle and every time you make a noise of pain, he goes on to say “I’m almost done, hold still.” In a very demanding tone.

you don’t understand why he acts that way sometimes, it still leaves you shocked and to be quite honest, he doesn’t know either and his own behavior shocks him.

he doesn’t know why you come up in mind when he’s trying to go to sleep, and he certainly doesn’t understand why he cannot stop himself from imagining you being next to him, maybe even holding him and the way you would be so warm-

back to the present, scaramouche lays on his back making a promise to himself.

just thinking about diluc and how much of a sweetheart he would be, a gentleman at that.

his soft gaze while looking at you is easy to point out especially for kaeya who cannot stop teasing him for, saying it reminds him of a “love sick teenager.” Which from how inexperienced he is, that might be a good way to describe it.

Everyone around you can see it, they can see the difference between how he treats others and how he treats you, he is so gentle and caring making sure you get home safe, and when he can’t walk you home (which is rare) he would check up on you the next day.

he sometimes finds himself daydreaming about what your life would be together, and after the realization he cannot help but flush and shake his head disappointed in himself, maybe he is indeed a love sick teenager, he tries to distract himself with the paperwork (keyword : tries).

The redhead would take interest in the books you read, especially if you ranted to him about it he would always hear you out and take your recommendations, your favorite meal? He would ask Adelinde to prepare it for dinner and insist you stay over for dinner, favorite drink? As soon as he sees you walking in he would make sure it’s ready before you ask.

speaking of which, he absolutely loves when you stay behind with him in angels share at late hours, when everyone had already left drunken and tired to their homes to rest, when everything’s quiet.

diluc certainly feels more comfortable around you, and you never fail to bring a small smile on his face with your antics jokes and stories, he can feel his heart skip a beat from hearing your laugh at something silly he said when he didn’t even intend it, but man was it worth it.
