While both Tiramisu or Cheesecake are dairy-based, sinful desserts, and is a complete delight to be spotted on any menu, cheesecake and tiramisu are very different in their origin, texture or preparation type. Both desserts are easy to customize, one can make a number of variations to the original recipe to cater to the needs of sweet-tooths out there. Whilst, Tiramisu is an Italian origin dessert, containing very few ingredients, it is an incredibly rich dessert with light and airy texture is what makes it so special, on the contrary, a traditional Cheesecake, which originated in Ancient Greece during 776 B.C, possesses a denser texture, and consists of a base of crushed cookies with a thick layer that’s made from cream cheese, sugar, eggs, and the choice of flavour you want to add in on top. Among both of these dessert variants, my favorite is the traditional Tiramisu. What's yours ? Burgers are by far, the most simplest way to say good bye to your hungers pangs, be it at any point of the day. Globally, burgers may be considered as America’s most sought after food. You can find them in any hole-in-the-wall diners, at the drive-in windows of fast food restaurants, or even on the menus of Michelin-starred restaurants. Though we have some of the popular joints like Burger King, Mc Donald’s, KFC in the city of Hyderabad, there are some rare outlets which do offer tasty and flavourful burgers as well. Biggies Burger n More is one of them, who started off their journey from Bhubaneswar and now have multiple outlets pan-India including in Hyderabad as well. I happened to visit their outlet situated in SLN Terminus on the Ground floor and I must say their burgers are quite good as compared to market standards however the room for improvement is always there. With a decent seating arrangement for 15-20 persons, this outlet offers burger & wraps options for folks needing a quick snacker break amidst their busy day. ∘ ∘ ∘ 📍➡️ Biggies Burger n More, SLN Terminus, Gachibowli, Hyderabad ∘ ∘ ∘ ∘ Follow ➡️ @pradzeatshyd for more Food updates 😋 Turn on the post notifications ∘ ∘ ∘ ∘ @biggiesburger ∘ ∘ ∘ #grilledchickenburger #vegwrap #oreoshake #biggiesburgersandmore #eveningsnacks #foodporn #foodie #foodblogger #nomnom #foodtruck #foodstagram #foodfeed #foodgasm #foodphotography #foodlover #foodpics #foodcapture #instapic #instagram #instalike #hyderabad #sohyderabad #hyderabadfoodie #hyderabadifoodie #hydfoodblogger #hyderabad_diaries #hyderabadbuzz #hyderabadfooddiaries #okbye✌ (at Biggies Burger 'n' More) https://www.instagram.com/p/B2dr__OlSwQ/?igshid=1hycz10zb8fvj

Milkshake mixers are what Ray Kroc was selling in 1954, not very successfully when he suddenly got a big order from a California-based operation run by Richard and Maurice McDonald. Milkshakes brands are now flooding across India & there's no stopping to that. On a small stretch in Indiranagar in Hyderabad, I counted five outlets advertising milkshakes on the menu. This included some of the popular outlets like TSF, Keventers, Frozen Bottle, Drunken Monkey etc. However, the common ground across all these brands are their forte is only shakes. However, to bring exclusive shakes along with Continental and Mediterranean dishes, MonQo is another brand which is gaining the much-needed hype & crowd in the city of Hyderabad which brings to you something better, much better. MonQo, which is an African family name, is a Kochi-based brand & founded by Pradeep Nair way back in 2016, when he was having a walk with his son in his hometown, recognized a large crowd in front of a local restaurant eagerly waiting for laying their hands on a milkshake which clearly needed a room for improvement. It was at this moment when Monqo got its inception, Pradeep left his job and completely engrossed his efforts in setting up this brand starting from his hometown. Their flagship outlets are in Kochi and they have opened up franchises in other states like Telangana, Andhra Pradesh, Maharashtra, Gujarat, Goa and Tamil Nadu in a very short span of 1.5 yr.monQo, a quick service restaurant chain, has opened up their outlet in Hyderbad in Kukatpally with close proximity of Forum Mall, has a neat & quite nicely lit ambiance with high chair-tables & some crazy photo frames which makes it decent place for your Instgram shots. Additionally, the outlet at Hyderabad can accommodate 10-15 persons at a time with ease. In terms of the food options, they are quite widely spread ranging from Pasta, Wraps, sizzlers, Steaks, Tortilla Rolls & much more with options for both veg and non-vegetarians. Coming to the exclusive shakes, do try out their range of Exotic shakes starting with Caramel Popcorn, Red Velvet & Coconut dry fruit which is not be missed at all. Is there anything that a dessert can't fix? From revitalizing your mood when you are feeling low, to adding a sweet note at the end of your yummy meal, a good dessert can be an answer to every pleasant as well as a disheartening thing. Some have been there for generations in the city while others are just carving a place for themselves in the heart of dessert lovers. From old fashioned ice cream to Italian gelato, from sundaes to cheesecakes, the dessert game surely has come along way and it's still expanding in leaps and bounds in the city of Hyderabad. It's a weekday and how better than hogging on some sinful desserts to take the heat of a day at work away. Film Nagar in Hyderabad is definitely the most uptown places in Hyderabad & the latest destination for standalone restaurants. Farine, a sub-brand of Conçu under the same management, is a new kid in the lanes of Film Nagar & one of the newest and finest desert bar & bakery which has already gained the buzz of the city. Kasim Ali Khan who has worked with Concu earlier, is one of the founders of this outlet. Farine, which is a french word for flour, has minimal interiors done in a soft pink and white which makes every corner of the outlet an Instagrammable spot, be it the outdoor or indoor seating. Savoury-wise, Farine has a very tightly-packed menu for many palates which has various options to choose from. Being split across ‘Small Plates’ and ‘Big Plates’, it enables an individual to start off slowly and gradually progress to the menu rather than overwhelm straight off the charts. The small plates menu offers dishes like the very Instagrammable watermelon and feta salad with a raspberry vinaigrette, pita pockets in both vegetarian and chicken options and a number of other eats such as Peri Peri fries and pizza variants. They have an elegant spread of desserts & bread(do try out their Focaccia bread), definitely some of the best in the city. Moreover, the food menu is short and well-thought, just enough to fulfill your hungers pangs. ∘ ∘ ∘ 📍➡️ Farine, Road No. 82, Opp Indian Oil Petrol Pump, Film Nagar,Hyderabad (at Film Nagar) https://www.instagram.com/p/B2VxXsdF6Fe/?igshid=klcp6pftrra7

If love is the universal language, ice cream has to be the language of universal joyfulness. An ice-cream-like food was first eaten in China in 618-97 AD. King Tang of Shang, had 94 ice men who helped to make a dish of buffalo milk, flour and camphor. This soft, sweet, gooey, melt-in-your-mouth dessert was probably consumed in full swing first by the Greeks or the Persians or the Chinese or someone else – no one can tell for sure. But one thing which everyone will tell you is that ice cream is the elixir – the soothing liniment I guess every soul needs. Ice cream will cure everything from a stubbed toe and exam blues to a bad mood or even your Monday blues. And there are so many places you could get an ice-cream. If you have a sweet tooth and a craving for some Instagrammable snaps, don't make any further delay, call up your besties & head over to The Funnel Hill Creamery in Jubilee Hills for a fun-filled experience. The Funnel Hill Creamery, located in the heart of Jubilee Hills has to be on top of your dessert bucket list as it is a new entrant to the list of dessert parlours opening up in the city. It has the perfect picture worthy ambiance with minimalistic decor with pastel pink & whites shades. It is the first ice cream parlor in Hyderabad to serve charcoal black ice cream. The Funnel Hill Creamery offers a whole lot of Instagram goals with their ice cream. The Funnel Hill Creamery is a cool, funky place that serves up some equally funky ice cream flavors. They also do a bright-blue version of it, known as the Cookie Monster, inspired by the blue Sesame Street Muppet. Additionally, don't forget to try out their bubble waffles after having stuffed your tummy with their sumptuous ice cream variants. At CRED, the Team’s motto is to provide the members with experiences that aren’t just exclusive, but an experience that they connect with, something that becomes a cherished memory. India’s culinary festival, ‘World on A Plate’ (WOAP) recently hosted a one-day event at The Westin Hyderabad wherein celebrity Masterchef Diana Chan along with Chef Emma Rosen, had graced us with their prescence to exhibit some easy tips and tricks to follow in the kitchen whilst preparing some of her master class dishes. Diana Chan, the Masterchef Australia S07 Winner, is on a complete India tour as part of a CRED experience in association with GoldRush India, to share her expertise and innate knowledge of the culinary arts. The big food event witnessed the chef’s most awaited masterclass for the food enthusiasts of the city and chefs which was followed by exclusive fine-dine experience and personal interaction with the audience. There is nothing more classic than a lip-smacking Fish and chips. It is freshly cooked, piping hot fish and chips, smothered in salt and soused with vinegar, wrapped in newspaper and eaten out-of-doors on a cold and wintry day which simply cannot be beaten! When all else boils down, a good batter is why we love a good fish and chips preparation. Golden brown might be the two best words you can say in the kitchen, and the magic of a batter that is crispy, yet light, is a feat of culinary magic. For longer than anyone can remember, Waffles have been a major part of a sweet ending breakfast spread and a fixed food item inside America’s freezers, restaurants, and recipe books. One might enjoy waffles in the old-fashioned way, with butter and maple syrup, or perhaps even like them plated out with chocolate chips, whipped cream, strawberries, and other sinful toppings. There's no doubt that the waffle is an amazing, versatile food that can be eaten at anytime of the day. Here is one of the creations of a Classic Waffle I had at The Polo Club at The Oberoi Bengaluru during my stay. This was served with maple syrup and whipped cream and it was so delicious 😋 which can’t be described in words. Be it the crunch, texture or the presentation, every single part of the serving was on-point which absolutely made my day. ∘ ∘ ∘ ∘ 📍➡️ Polo Club, The Oberoi, 37-39 M.G. It is quite difficult to explain the street food in India to an Indian. We don't usually need a reason to go & hog at the roadside Pani Puri, Vada Pav, Momo or Tea stall, it just happens naturally. Whether it's having Pakodas on a rainy day or having Vada Pav during those Tea breaks in Office hours, we have seen and done it all. Street Food is popular throughout the world, but no country can ever have the variety and the spicy taste what we have in our part of the world in India.Just like the taste of water changes every mile, every Indian state and region has its very own forte of street food. Indians just can't say no to street food & for obvious reasons, such is the love. The street food culture in Hyderabad has also grown leaps & bounds and is always prepared to please your taste buds without much care for presentation, which doesn't impress at first sight but one eventually starts liking it as you tuck in for a second spoonful. Inspired from the Maharastrian food culture, Vada Pav, also referred to as the 'poor man's burger', is a popular street food among Mumbaikars. The entire belt of Maharashtra runs on this Indian version fo burger which is a bit spicy but is truly Mumbaikars lifeline. Vada Pav can be called the official breakfast of the state for millions of people living there, and people of all age groups alike from all strata of the society hog onto any given Vada Pav stalls to grab a bite. Already spicy Vada Pav, when served with fried chillies, might heat your stomach from inside the satisfaction is nothing less than ginormous. It is so simple in design and making yet so amazing in terms of taste. In an attempt to bring a likewise experience to the city of Hyderabad, The Chai Factory leaves no stone unturned and has just nailed it in all aspects. This outlet is situated opp to Gate No.2 of DLF Cyber City at Gachibowli, is a paradigm of a street food experience can be geared up without any fuss. I happened to visit this outlet for the first time for a tasting session & hands down they serve the best Vada Pav, Dabeli & Adrak Chai in the town. Here's presenting the list of dishes: 1. Classic Vada Pav 2. Cheese Vada Pav 3. Dabeli 4. Adrak Chai (at DLF Cyber City) https://www.instagram.com/p/B2JYunOl8HU/?igshid=1rmon8kti1vn2

Mandi is a traditional Yemeni dish usually made from rice, meat (lamb or chicken), and a mixture of subtle spices. The meat used is usually a young and small sized lamb to enhance the taste further. The meat should not be grilled, nor boiled & no oil should be used in cooking it. Mandi is a dish which needs to be slow-cooked, over four hours or so, in a hole in the ground, not fully sealed but covered nevertheless. The meat needs to be fresh, not frozen, and either Jazeeri or Indian. Once the meat is ready, it should be served on the rice with a tangy and sour sauce & is usually garnished with nuts. One major difference between Biryani and Mandi that Mandi is much more subtle as it has fewer spices as compared to the latter which has loads of spices in it. Mandi@36 is considered one of the best mandi restaurants in Hyderabad; they have delicious and well-flavoured rice, chicken, mutton and various sauces. The Mutton Juicy Marg mandi is one of the top sought after options to choose from the list which the outlet has to offer. If you want to have an authentic Yemeni food experience then make your way down to Mandi@36 which is situated on the most popular lanes of Jubilee Hills at Road No 36. Here's presenting the dishes from my recent visit to @mandi36jubileehills : 1. Mutton Leg Mandi - Apart from the standard rice & spices, the meat was mainly a major chunk of the leg piece which was absolutely a delight to savour. 2. Mutton Shorba - This is a tasty soup which is made with bone-in mutton pieces with a thicker consistency which makes it a perfect dish to be served at the very beginning of any meal. 3. Kunafa - It is the most celebrated dessert in middle east. It is prepared by filling cheese, cream, fruits or chocolate and soaked in sugar syrup which makes it a great dessert that can be served after a traditional Mughlai or Middle Eastern Meal. A must recommended dish for all when you are at this place. ∘ ∘ 📍➡️ Mandi@36, Sami Complex, 2nd Floor, Rd No.36, Jubilee Hills,Hyderabad ∘ ∘ Follow ➡️ @pradzeatshyd for more Food updates 😋 Turn on the post notifications ∘ @mandi36jubileehills @wahhhyd . #mandi36 #shorba #kunafa #yemenicuisine #hyderabadfooddiaries (at Mandi @ 36 Jubilihills) https://www.instagram.com/p/B1_vzaTF-h9/?igshid=1a5r7o1n28sdc

Tiramisu is a well-known Italian dessert featuring layers of mascarpone cream and Savoiardi biscuits (ladyfingers) dipped in espresso and dusted with cocoa. This tiramisu was light and creamy, but packed with flavor thanks to the espresso and the layer of cocoa given aside. Coffee is a morning protocol for many of us. The brew is as personal as it is universal. The choice of coffee beans and the intensity of roasting make each batch of powder unique and when used in a filter, percolator or press, no two brews are the same😊With the people at The Roastery Coffee House, who aim to put you at ease, strike a conversation to know your preferences and let you enjoy an artisan coffee experience. Located in a converted villa, Roastery Cafe is one of west Hyderabad's most popular cafes. A place meant for all age groups wherein mostly bright young crowd hang out here especially for the Western food: salads, bruschettas, burgers, pasta dishes and sandwiches. As the name suggests, Roastery is also famous for its coffee, including nitro cold brew, French press and hot black options. Roastery also broadens its craftsman approach to its décor. A cosy house that has been remodelled into a café & accompanying the coffee is good food. The portions are generous, so check with the staff before placing the order. Moreover, be sure to go with patience to wait for your choice of table as the ambience is worth to be enjoyed with a sip of their famous Cold brew.
