yatta is a parasite host (but like in a really cool awesome way). send post (cw irl parasite/bugs under cut)

HELLO!!! quick note that this isn't a theory but is just me analyzing her character and spotting many parasite moments. a lot of these aren't connected to anything, just fun observations ^_^ first things first, a bit of a reach, but her tails totally look like worm parasites. that is all

the part of her that more closely resembles a type of parasite however is the back of her head. it very much looks like the green banded broodsac (which are parasites that take over snails' eyestalks ^_^).

like even her hair resembles how you can see them through the "neck" of the snail. wild

i think the funniest thing is that her whole thing is that she's filled with candy + drops them. her candy is her bugs dude

but also the fact that the banded broodsac parasites mimic caterpillars (via snail eyestalks) for birds (predators) to eat them as their means of reproduction. and the fact that yatta drops candy items when she gets hit by twisteds (even more than when she completes machines). they're both colorful with the means of attracting predators (even if unintentionally for yatta) LIKE...

noteable thing to mention is that the snails don't die after a bird has eaten the parasites from their eyestalks. yatta's unbooothered

tl;dr yatta really really resembles a snail infected by green banded broodsacs. also she is a snail pinata to me. ok thanks for reading

i was SO looking forward to an interaction with sprout and shrimpo bc i felt pretty sure that the reason shrimpo didn’t have one with him was bc he knew sprout would start swinging. this is every bit as good. bro got him to stop talking in capitals. he Knows that strawberry would Start Swinging!!!
