🙏🏼 Show us mercy O God, for there is so much happening in the world that we cannot comprehend it. But with You we are safe for it is written that those that trust in the Lord shall be as Mount Zion and shall abide forever. 🙏🏼

Psalm 125:1-2 KJV [1] They that trust in the Lord shall be as mount Zion, which cannot be removed, but abideth for ever. [2] As the mountains are round about Jerusalem, so the Lord is round about his people from henceforth even for ever.

A prayer to dispel trouble…

Psalm 93:4 KJV [4] The Lord on high is mightier than the noise of many waters, yea, than the mighty waves of the sea.

Isaiah 11:15 NLT [15] The LORD will make a dry path through the gulf of the Red Sea. He will wave his hand over the Euphrates River, sending a mighty wind to divide it into seven streams so it can easily be crossed on foot.

A prayer for help against what’s not good

Romans 6:14 KJV For sin shall not have dominion over you: for ye are not under the law, but under grace.

Dear Lord, help me to overcome anything that You do not like. May I not do what’s bad, May I not speak evil about others, May I not think evil, and may sin be far from me and my lineage. May sin not have dominion over me and all that concerns me in Jesus’s name I ask. Such as I have asked receive I. Amen 🙏🏼

A short prayer guide that gave me peace…

when I prayed to separate myself and my lineage from habits and traits passed down from generation to generation.

Deuteronomy 10:20 KJV [20] Thou shalt fear the Lord thy God; him shalt thou serve, and to him shalt thou cleave, and swear by his name.

Pray, separating yourself and children from xx (generational issues, ties to souls, ancestral relationships...

Ask God to honor His covenant that He will be your God and you will be His people

Genesis 17:7 KJV [7] And I will establish my covenant between me and thee and thy seed after thee in their generations for an everlasting covenant, to be a God unto thee, and to thy seed after thee.

Jeremiah 32:38 KJV [38] And they shall be my people, and I will be their God:

Ezekiel 11:19-20 KJV [19] And I will give them one heart, and I will put a new spirit within you; and I will take the stony heart out of their flesh, and will give them an heart of flesh: [20] That they may walk in my statutes, and keep mine ordinances, and do them: and they shall be my people, and I will be their God.

I have done this and find that praying in tongues as well, adds a ‘boost’ and helps bring peace that my prayer is heard.

My short response to someone who was worried that her sons were not making the kind of progress she hoped to see but displaying traits of ‘failure’ like their dad.

I pray this post reaches the right person today. Amen

Dear Lord,

Thank You for the angels who keep us safe every moment of every day. (Psalm 91:11-12 KJV [11] For he shall give his angels charge over thee, to keep thee in all thy ways. [12] They shall bear thee up in their hands, lest thou dash thy foot against a stone.)

As we go out today, we know they are with us, and that the power of Your preservation is available to us. Cause us to go and return safely; cause us to dwell in safety. (Psalm 121:7-8 KJV [7] The Lord shall preserve thee from all evil: he shall preserve thy soul. [8] The Lord shall preserve thy going out and thy coming in from this time forth, and even for evermore.)

Take all the glory of our answered prayers Lord, in Jesus’s name we ask. Amen.

Good morning Lord,

This is your child (name here) saying thank You for waking me up today. I made it through yesterday because of You. My feet took me to the right places because You ordered them there. I couldn’t have done anything in all my life if You didn’t help me.

Thank You for providing everything I need, from family, to friends, to food, to finances. Thank You for saving me from things that could easily harm me. Thank You for all You have done for me from when I was born. You made sure I went to school and came back safely every single day of my school life. When I think about it, it’s amazing.

Lord, I’m grateful that You have given me a mouth full of thanks. As Your children go into a new week, may we all remember to pray with thanksgiving because You are a good Father - the best ever.

We ask because the Bible says we should. Give us every day, our daily bread. Let Your will for us be done. Let us glorify Your name. Let our days be filled with the joy of Your salvation. All the praise, power, glory and might belongs to You.

Speak to You soon Lord. It was good to express my thoughts just now.

O God, send me a helper that stays true to course in spite of odds.

1 Samuel 20:30-31 KJV [30] … Saul's anger was kindled against Jonathan, … I know that thou hast chosen the son of Jesse to thine own confusion, and unto the confusion of thy mother's nakedness? [31] For as long as the son of Jesse liveth upon the ground, thou shalt not be established, nor thy kingdom. Wherefore now send and fetch him unto me, for he shall surely die

🔘 Listen carefully to what Saul said.

He basically told his son Jonathan that David’s popularity would not permit him (Jonathan) to be king,

🔘 However, Jonathan loved David as he loved himself.

1 Samuel 20:16-17 KJV [16] So Jonathan made a covenant with the house of David, saying, Let the Lord even require it at the hand of David's enemies. [17] And Jonathan caused David to swear again, because he loved him: for he loved him as he loved his own soul.

Mark 12:31 KJV [31] And the second is like, namely this, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. There is none other commandment greater than these.

🔘 Side bar 🗣️ Just think, if we all love others as we love ourselves, we won’t do anything to hurt one another. 😞 Sigh. That would be a truly perfect world where we all got along. Ah well - back to the post’s conversation at hand.

🔘 Jonathan stayed the course of his agreement with David to let him know that King Saul sought to harm him. David was now properly warned, and took decisions to definitively stay out of Saul’s way.

O God, send me a helper that stays true to course in spite of odds. May seeds of discord sown against me never distract my helpers. May that which they are to do in my life be done for my good as instructed by God. Thank You Lord for sending them to me. In Jesus’s name I have asked and received. Amen.
