For those of you who still are unsure why you can’t access any writing I post on here

Writing Prompt: “In order for justice to be fully served, prisons begin administering age inhibitors so that convicts can live out their entire sentences.”

This is my first official piece of writing based off of a writing prompt I found online. Message me if you want to be able to access it.

Love’s Melody

Love is the gift to all mankind. Ne’er shall I rest until I find The one thing that my heart desires, That’s hardest for life to provide.

Love lets our caring Nature show And can’t be told by friend of foe. It’s only know by those who see The pow’r of its sweet melody.

Love tells us where our souls belong And all the while keeps our hearts strong, Strong enough to stay our trust, Although our Nature’s full of lust.

If I could have a dream come true I’d wish that I were close to you. Close to the one who shares my soul, My heart, my life, my one true goal.

To feel your touch upon my skin And know that Hate will never win. To know that you are here with me To share in that, true, melody.

Happy (almost) Valentine’s Day everyone! <3 Hope you have someone special to celebrate this with, and even if you don’t that you don’t let this Capitalist Profiteering Of Love ruin your week.

This’ll probably be one of the only public pieces of work I put on here, let me know what you think!

Temples are built for gods. Knowing this a farmer builds a small temple to see what kind of god turns up.

FAQ

How often will you update this blog with new writing prompts/original work? I will try to update, for now at least, at least once or twice a week on average, usually during the weekends. I work a 9-5 during the week and I’d appreciate your patience as I’d preferably like to do a bit of research into them to keep the writing as original as possible.

Are you taking suggestions for writing prompts/continuations of work you’ve written already?

My ask box is currently open to requests, though that may change in the near future. I welcome any requests you have for specific writing prompts. If you have comments regarding or requests for more of a specific writing prompt/original work, please mention the title of the work in your message, as that will make it easier for me to keep track.

I messaged you about a specific writing prompt/continuation, why haven’t you updated *insert title here*?

While I appreciate that you enjoy my blog enough to request specific updates/content, I would ask that you be patient. I may be busy, or I may have another work that is more popular at the moment. I always respond to as many asks as I can, mostly privately unless it is a general concern, in which case I’ll answer it publicly.

I’m having trouble viewing a specific piece of work, why is it listed as private?

Unfortunately, tumblr has an irritating reputation of plagiarising original content. I put considerable time, effort, and thought into my work. As a precaution against anyone who would want to repost or take credit for it, I am only allowing specific people to view the full, uncensored content at present. This may change in the future, but as paranoid as it may seem, it’s a precaution I have put in place for a reason. If we’ve already spoken and you’re having trouble viewing anything and would like access, please do let me know and I’d be more than happy to help. Bear in mind that it will be read-only unless we’re collaborating on work together.

I want to try writing myself and like the idea behind/have edit suggestions for *insert title here*. How can I go about being a collaborator?

My ask box is currently open for anyone wanting to collaborate. I would ideally want to take a look at any other work you’ve done that you’re comfortable sharing; not on a pretentious level of course, more just so that I know what I’m getting myself into beforehand.

Can I submit to you so that you can leave constructive feedback on works that I’ve written?

At the moment I am not accepting submissions. If you’d like to share your work with me, by all means do, I’ll get to it if I can. Right now however, I am focusing on building up this blog and developing a following, getting feedback on my own style of writing. I would not feel comfortable giving my opinion until I’m confident in my own ability.

I appreciate your continued patience and understanding, and will update this as and when anything else arises.
