HC: Ron is a puppet to her fame. She had always wanted to pursue music and express herself creatively– unfortunately, despite achieving her life long dream, she can't help but feel stifled.

Her public image as a vibrant and dainty celebrity has become a priority pushed upon her that she did not fully consent to.

Pressured by familial matters and potentially never finding her next big pitch, Ron willingly signed her name away onto an ambiguous contract that'd ensure her manager has full control of who she is as an idol. This has made her unable to express herself with authenticity. Rather than challenging the restricting social norms within her society (as she'd wanted to do in introducing unconventionality into the music industry), she is expected to play into the norm for the sake of pleasing the masses who only love her for who she masquerades herself to be.

This leaves her yearning for liberation, and in a twisted way, she'd found that liberation within Eluca. Someone who's the embodiment of unconventional and all things taboo.

She admires his unapologetically free spirit– even if his will is just philosophized torture.

He has the freedom she yearns for. He mirrors everything she wishes to be. That is why she feels he could set her free in the sense of being perceived and accepted as who she really is.

In him, she'd found her only peer.

Additionally, as a romantic goth in the closet, Ron finds beauty in all things morbid. Who better fits that description than Eluca?

I've always had this personal headcanon of Eluca warming up to Ron due to the remnants of his sister he sees within her.

Deep down, he craves unconditional love and acceptance but he (subconsciously) knows that expecting that from Elisa would be unfair to her considering the fact that she has moral values that don't align with his own and he respects that.

Eluca willingly carries the burden of his predatory nature all on his own despite still wanting a connection with her because he doesn't want to impose in her life so negatively.

So, having someone like Ron to experience the worst parts of him first-hand and still pursue him anyway would feel like a huge relief off his shoulders.

And although undeserving of having a kindred spirit to share his life with, he finds what he's looking for within her and begrudgingly accepts it over time.

Eluca is definitely stubborn about it and he'd be in denial over the spontaneity of their connection at first, but he'd eventually warm up to her and feel thankful for it. He wouldn't verbalize his feelings all that much and he'd feign indifference, but Ron would know how to read between the lines and love him for who he is... flaws and all.
