lots has been said about beth fallout games and their comparatively long intros, but i watched a friend of mine start fallout 3 and repeatedly restart trying to fix some technical issues and there's something to be said for them, even if the joy is unintentional. clawing your way out of the birth canal the first time, that's a weird way to start a video game. but after the sixth or seventh time? in a row? hilarious. i like to think they all happened consecutively and james is just pushing us back in
