Had the absolute most big-brained idea of what happens when its bat mating season for vampires that can turn into bats and accidentally went down a huge rabbithole about bat mating rituals

Anyways suddenly Ascended!Astarion is just going feral around the manor because he can smell Gale /everywhere/ meanwhile Gale is super confused because Astarion will randomly turn into his bat form and fly around Gale and squeak at him constantly, rubbing his face all over his neck and trying to bite him

Eventually Gale goes to a druid after Astarion just *keeps* squeaking at him and is all frantic and worried like "my husband wont quit making this noise and rubbing at my neck, is he sick?? Hurt??" And the druid just is looking at the two and rolling his eyes and having to explain that no, Astarion isnt hurt, those squeaks are him trying to show off how loud he can make himself and him rubbing at his neck is him saying he chose Gale as a mate

Literally cannot emphasize enough that my #1 writing advice is to stop being afraid. Stop being afraid of sounding too cringe, or too stupid, or too horrifying, or too horny, or too weird, or too much, or too little, or too you. You need to put your entire pussy into your art. Sure, it won't be to everyone's tastes, but if you keep yourself to the blandest tamest safest roads possible you will be of no one's tastes, not even yours.
