B.C really is gorgeous place. It's heaven on earth when it's not on fire or flooding lol. I live in Southern Alberta and can see the mountains from my town main street. Gotta love waking up to the sight of mountains. The fresh air is so invigorating! It looks like where you live or work is in a gorgeous area. Is it northern b.c? Anyway I love your blog. The nature photos are chefs kiss and I love your dog. Cheers 🍻
Thank you,
I am currently in Northern BC. However, the majority of my posts are from the Kootenays. Unfortunately, due to an NDA, I can't post photos from where I end up currently. That should change soon enough when I get out and about on my own time. BC holds a special place in my heart, I have yet to decide my favorite province/territory. The Yukon and Northwest territories keep calling me back. I'll be spending a fair amount of time there this year. Remote Eastern Russia and Labrador are also on the list.
This is Dobby. One of the resident Grizzlies in my camp. He's been very respectful and stops by my cabin every morning when I'm getting ready for work and when I'm off to sleep. He's very young and spends the day with me on site while I'm doing work on our Salmon site. I've grown quite fond of him.
And as we enter the wilderness to escape what is now considered important in life; we begin to live.
The materialistic world disappears and the genuine begins. Surrounded by only who we choose, people with meaning who make you feel. It is the place that sadly a small amount still experience, that most feel unnecessary to be a part of.
However it is here, where we become basic in a sense; That we become "human."
It is here where the only things we have to offer is what we contain within ourselves. Whether it is knowledge, intelligence, compassion, hate or love. The only place where we remain true, to ourselves and the world we exist in for not all of us live.
