Lil fun facts about this oc. He’s Filipino-Japanese American. He is trans. He uses a leg brace and forearm crutch due to an old sports injury, he used to play soccer. He has a lot of dogs! That’s it for now. 😭

So top left is my oc Sirus Astassier as my spidersona and on the right of him is my design for mama Mother Nature. In the bottom left we have my oc Valentino or Val and that was my Valentine’s Day piece from last year. Then on the bottom right is my graduation art for former Nijisanji vtuber Mysta.

I do plan on trying to do more work digitally this year but overall just draw more and go outside my comfort zone in terms of anatomy, backgrounds, and composition.

ℝ𝕖𝕧𝕚𝕖𝕨:

Basically with XO Kitty having its second season I decided I would go back to rewatch the To All the Boys I Loved Before trilogy. To say my opinions have changed a tiny bit since I first watched the film back in 2018 is an understatement.

Overall I enjoyed to movie it was really silly and cute with its more serious notes as well. I ended up loving most of the characters easily especially Lucas, Kitty, and Peter.

I do enjoy a good old fake dating into real feelings trope. It makes even better because I genuinely liked Peter Kavinsky.

I do hate how fast paced it seemed but then again we’re cramming a several month period into a singular movie so it’s alright. I do wanna eventually read the books and see the difference in them.

One thing u did find really strange was how Josh and Margot dated and broke up and Margot got mad finding out LJ used to like him. Like it just rubbed me the wrong way because LJ and Josh dated first and that was years ages ago since that letter was written.

I also love that despite them being in a fake relationship in the beginning how genuinely nice Peter still was. As well as him automatically going into big brother mode with Kitty.

One thing that did irritate me with Lara Jean however is that when Peter wanted to explain things she didn’t let him get a word in edge wise. Also just hated Gen as a character all together because how are you going to get mad at your ex for moving on and expect him to wait around while you don’t some college student that’s insane.

Anyways besides those little things I enjoyed the movie a lot still. It was a lot cornier in a few schemes than I remember but it’s from 2018 what do we expect.

I did start some of the second movie and I’m scared because what the hell is Lara Jean in now and who is this new guy who showed up. I did make it past the part where she was trying to write back to him and she honestly irritated the shit outta me.

Anyways I will continue my binge of the movies and then continue onto XO Kitty. Then hopefully at some point I get the chance to read the books.

In general it was a nice break from all the darker themed movies and tv shows I tend to watch. Just some good old romance between my episodes of 9-1-1.
