Step-1: Restart the printer and check your connections

Make sure the cartridge is attached properly and the cover is off.

Check if the papers are fed properly in the paper feed of the printer.

Step-2: Restart print spooler service

Press Windows/Start Key + R or search run by clicking the windows icon on the left bottom corner of the screen.

Type “services.msc” and hit enter.

After the services window appears, scroll down and find “Print spooler”

Right click and Click Restart to restart the service.

That is all in this step. You can also manually clear the spool service by accessing “C:\WINDOWS\system32\spool\PRINTER” and then delete every file in this folder. This path may vary and depend upon the path where you install your windows, You just have to find the “spool\PRINTER” inside your window installation drive.

You may face a warning when you open the folder, You have to carry on and click “View Files anyway”

Select all the files inside this folder manually or by clicking “Control+A” and delete all the files by clicking the “Delete” button on your keyboard. Close the explorer window now  that we have emptied and cleared all the spool files, and go to the service window again.

After all we must restart the “Print Spooler service”, Click Restart on the services shown in the above step.

Step-3: Use window Troubleshoot and find the problem.

Press the “Windows key + R” to open the Run application.

Type “control” in the Run dialog box, then press Enter. Or You can go to the control panel window manually.

In the Search box in the Control Panel, type troubleshooting, and then click Troubleshooting.

Under the ”Hardware and Sound” section, click “use a printer”. If you are asked for the administrator permission then allow and type the password.

Press “Next” and let the troubleshooter find all problems associated with this printer device. Solve all the problems accordingly.
