Okay so haven’t posted in like 2-3 months, but this little blog is my itty bitty corner of the internet so assume I’ll come and go sporadically /lh

POST PLUS IS COMING, WHETHER YOU WANT IT OR NOT!

Despite the fancy survey, changes to the UI and TOS reveal we’re getting the service in the future whether we want it or not. Obviously, Post+ is a terrible idea that is trying to bank revenue on user content. Unlike patreon or onlyfans, tumblr’s primary focus is on FAN content. The legality of this is NOT in the users favor and as the new tumblr TOS states, said users will be entirely liable for whatever legal matters arise.

SO WHAT ARE WE DOING?

Besides filling out the survey, it’s time to show tumblr we mean business and show our displeasure by hitting them where it hurts.

Ad revenue.

We’re proposing a 24 hour log off as phase one of this protest.

You know those soulmate AUs, where the song your soulmate is listening to gets subsequently stuck in your head? Headcannon time my friends.

-Remus will occasionally start playing “Never Gonna Give You Up” for hours at a time

-Roman listens to solely love songs and Disney. And a lot of Disney love songs.

-Logan’s soulmate wouldn’t know, because his taste in music doesn’t seem to “match” his persona. (Everything but classical)

-Janus cheats the system by playing stringed-together segments of songs that form sentences. His soulmate quickly catches on, (and perhaps does so as well?)

-Virgil’s soulmate finally meets him, and they’d ask something like “How many hours of music do you listen to a day!? Things were stuck in my head nonstop!” And Virgil would dodge the question at all costs.

-Patton would usually stay to the peppy, more lighthearted songs. Though he occasionally listens to Mario Cart music. And for some reason TV show intros. And songs to do with Greek mythology?
