"I've got to say, you seem vaguely familiar to me too, General." Lin laughed the slightest bit, "Lin Beifong. And my uniform is that of the Flying Boars." She stated that last fact with a slight tinge of pride. "Reigning champions, you know." She snorted a laugh, "I'm the Captain, by the way."

Gaoling is a sore subject for her, since her Grandparents were hardly the nicest people.

Lin and Toph have never been accepted by the rigidly traditional family.

Lin uses her Seismic Sense for minor reasons most of the time, telling if someone's upset and hiding it, or lying, or unsure, or fearful.

In contrast to her Mother, Lin is an avid reader. Mainly historical non-fiction, and adventure books.

She was given all of the ones she hasn't bought by Sokka, storyteller extraordinaire.

She's intrigued by Amon, to be honest. Speaking with him is one of the few times Lin shows her serious side, debating with him the social repercussions of masks, both literal and metaphorical.

It's a vague sort of friendship.

I'd be lying if I said I didn't play her as having a little more than friendly affection for the members of the Fire Ferrets and Wolfbats.

She's a Beifong, and as such thrives on the belligerence that comes from before-match taunts and during-match attacks.

While she can feel it in her bones that she wants to be a Policewoman some day, Lin is thrilled that Pro-Bending becomes such a big thing in the future.

Lin inherited and uses Toph's nicknames frequently, though she'll use her own every now and then.

Her own include:

Kya - Little Miss Media (because Kya loves the attention and has fun with the media), Hippy (need I explain, COME ON).

Honora - Madame Marksman (due to her uncanny aim), Princess (teasingly).

Mako - Red (need I explain), Hotman.

Bolin - Kid (in response to 'Sifu').

Once, while Toph and Aang were visiting Zuko and Mai, Lin and Honora went to see 'Love Amongst the Dragons', the Ember Island version.

It was a kind of family tradition, you see.

Kya, Honora, and Lin have always been friends, but if you had to describe them, they'd be more like sisters. Always there for each other and consistently pushing the others to strive for better things, not just in Pro-Bending.

They're all three shamelessly affectionate with each other, and have long-since reached and surpassed the point where they can freely compliment the others bodies.

She's more frivolous than her elder self when it comes to social interactions. Growing up still with Kya and Bumi, not to mention Toph and Sokka, means that she's freer with her laughter, smiles, and general affection.

This doesn't negate her seriousness, however, as she's a shrewd tactician and an excellent Bender.
