For those who don't know, Merphy Napier is a fantasy booktuber. Not once has she posted even remotely sexual content, her entire youtube presence is just fantasy books and manga reviews. She doesn't even wear the kind of clothes that would make gross creepy men say shit like "sHe kNoWs wHaT sHe'S dOiNg". Not that the presence of such a subreddit would be okay even if she DID do any of those things, but you get my point. She posts completely SFW, tame, wholesome content.

I can understand there being gooner subreddits dedicated to onlyfans girls, pornstars, or super famous actresses especially those who are known for "hot" roles, like Sydney Sweeney or Alexandria Daddario. To be honest those subreddits are pretty fucking creepy too, and so are the men subscribed to them, but at least I can KIND OF understand why they exist while rolling my eyes. But this??? A random woman, not an onlyfans girl, not some huge actress, just a random fucking woman on YouTube talking about books, and people are openly gooning to her, WHY is this okay?? Why????

Tbh I don't even dislike the Disturbed version of the song.

What absolutely pisses me off is how some fans of the cover go out of their way to disrespect and shit on the original, saying that the original sucks ass, that the Disturbed version is "objectively miles better", "Disturbed made the song their own"...Like right now on here I saw someone be like "hot take, but the orginal sucks. Disturbed cover better💅🏻". And when you try to disagree with them they'll pull out the "bUt pAuL siMoN liKeS tHe cOvEr!!" bullshit excuse. It's like you're not even allowed to have an opinion just because the original singer thinks it's good.
