I’ve been in total shock the whole day. All year there has been a never-ending train of bad news — but this one hurts in a place personally.

Blizzard Of Ozz and Bark At The Moon were the first heavy metal records I owned — I was 12 years old when they were gifted to me. Later I was given Black Sabbath’s Paranoid and Master Of Reality. As a matter of fact, Black Sabbath was the reason why I got into stoner and doom metal (everything from Sleep to Saint Vitus to Kyuss and Corrosion Of Conformity).

Ozzy Osbourne wasn’t just a rockstar, he was an artist who had a major positive impact on my life growing up.

Rest in heavenly peace, Prince of Darkness. I hope Randy and Lemmy welcome you with open arms, with guitar and bass ready.

i had an utterly insane moment last night while watching Pee-Wee’s Big Adventure for maybe the billionth time where i just locked into how Cassandra Peterson and Paul Ruebens look at each other during the bar scene and you just get like 1 second of seeing through the movie and instead just seeing two very good friends working their inside joke into a big movie and trying not to laugh. whatever i cried. im normal
