Movie 1: Lady and the Tramp (1955)
Honestly never seen it before or at least I don’t remember it. Here’s my live reaction:
It starts at Christmas and they have a dog as a present, don’t they know you shouldn’t gift pets?
But she’s so cute
They don’t deserve her. Don’t yell at the baby dog.
Alright they just had to get accustomed to having a dog
Where is she getting her energy to run around that fast
Really sincerely: I didn’t know the dogs talked in this movie. I know it’s a Disney movie and animals do that there, but still. Also i’ll see if maybe you could have made this a no talking animals movie and if it would have been better or worse.
Ok the brown dog is just the dog from fox and the hound. Maybe a cousin?
They’re saying “nothing could ever take her place in our hearts” which makes me think that something WILL take her place in their hearts.
TRAMP SIGHTED
You’re telling me this dog can read?
Oh they’re having a baby aren’t they
They are
I hate this
Well I was right that something was gonna take her place. And I was right with that you shouldn’t give pets for Christmas. Don’t have a dog if you’re gonna ignore it.
I really thought for a sec they would leave the baby and the dog alone for days. But ok theres a babysitter.
I know it’s racist stuff but if I had seen the siamese cats thing as a kid I would have propably thought they were aliens.
Did the lady know there’s also a dog and a bird and a fish in the house? Doesn’t seem like it if she still brings her troublemaker cats.
Dog said bye bye
Tramp has a second degree black belt in karate
I believe that lady can read because she brought in the newspaper earlier and she could pick some letters up but the dog who I don’t believe would be able to read gaslights her. Wow
I like that there’s animals in here that remind me of other Disney animals. Like the hound and the hyena in the zoo and the beaver.
Also most of this movie seems pretty realistic and then the beaver gets flung down a hill and into a river. And isn’t hurt.
I always wondered how the spaghetti scene happens. The restaurant owner just straight up plays wingman for a dog and cooks for them.
And plays a love song.
is the Italian restaurant part of the racist stereotypes in this movie? This just feels so out of place?
The subtitles say pidge but I keep hearing bitch and being like why are you calling her that dude
The dogs in the dog pound remind me of the dogs in one of my favourite movies, Oliver and co.
Oh this is sad. I thought the dog pound would be scary and violent but it’s just a sad place.
I will not be happy unless at the end of this movie all those dogs have a beautiful home. And are ALIVE
Another stereotype, Mexican chihuahua this time.
Her two friends have the hots for her ew
Surprising girlboss energy from lady
Ok like I get that it’s not great but what is the rat really going to do in the baby’s room. Give him rabies?
And now tramp is gonna fucking die
In a surprising turn of events her owners came back at the right time and for once listened to lady
Her friends are coming to the rescue!
But what I don’t buy is that after realising there was a rat and that was why lady was panicking, they somehow figured out that the random stray that was there was also just trying to help and got into a car to race to get him. Like what did lady do to communicate that? She can only bark and run
Hound dog dead????!??!???!???
Hound dog Not dead :DDDDD
Also Collar! Baby! PUPPIES!
Awww and it ends at Christmas too that’s cute
All in all
Not what I expected from the like 3 things I knew about this movie. I thought it was just a sort of boring no-plot romance film but there’s actually quite a bit of action. The owners got back on my good graces at the end. The dogs from the pound have to be FREED still and without watching it I will just tell myself that that happens in the sequel and they’re all happy. After watching the whole thing I don’t think it could have been made without the talking animals; when I thought the plot was more straight forward it seemed like it could have been a good move, but it wouldn’t have been This movie. Also I think she’s supposed to be the villain but the babysitter lady really didn’t do that much wrong except for bringing her cats with her, who does that.
7/10 needed more dogs getting a home at the end.

Ok another list I had more ideas. Idk which other list this would fit on so here it is.
Make marshmallows over fire
See fireflies/lightning bugs
Eat something fresh from the field
Throw away/donate stuff (I have too much stuff)
This list thing is getting excessive. On the other hand, I’ll always have things to do/plan over the year and as long as I get a few things done I’ll be happy.

I haven’t seen any of these so as you can see I’m clearly out of the loop regarding movies. I do like watching movies, but it feels like a big commitment to lock in and just watch something for two hours. Also finding a movie is a struggle. So in the last few years I barely watched anything new, I mostly rewatched movies. So in 2025 I’m gonna make a point to watch at least 42 movies (because of the 42filmpodcast) and I’ll just pick one from this list. I’ll probably also write a little review and link it here. If you have a favourite movie I should put on the list (maybe for 2026) then message me it.

These aren’t really "goals", and also not (just) for 2025. These are things I’ve never done before, that I’d like to try and will seek out. I don’t want to put these as goals because I don’t know if all are possible (eg, I don’t know if I am able to actually give blood, or if there’s a place near me where I can drive a go cart) and I don’t want to feel bad for not doing something that I didn’t have access to.

My 2025 Plan
Hello, I’m L and I’m 23.
This is a blog that is supposed to kind of be a journal for 2025 and to hold me accountable for the goals I set for the coming year. I’ll have a lot more time in 2025 so this feels like the perfect time to do things I’ve been meaning to do.
Movies:
One of the things I want to do is watch more movies. I haven’t seen a lot of movies in my life so I want to watch everything I missed. My goal is to watch at least 42 new movies in 2025. More if possible but tbh, even 42 will be a challenge.
Here’s my list of movies I want to watch
Books:
Can you believe that I haven’t read a whole book for like three years? My goal for 2025 is to read 12 books, one for every month. I feel like this will definitely be difficult but not impossible. I don’t have a list of to read books yet. I might try Lord of the rings again because the first time I gave up a few chapters in.
Other things I want to do:
Here’s my list of things I definitely wanna do in 2025 and my list of things I’d like to try for the first time plus this extra lil list because I just can’t be stopped.
